| While it was a bit cartoonish I always thought that the late 80s and early 90s (87-92) was the best for gimmicks and character progression, while the Attitude era will be forever remembered as the glory days when the ratings where at its peak and buy rates where like no other time, it also allowed wrestlers to be a bigger invention of thesmelves rather than someone different, while that proved to be a good thing the WWE as a whole are heading in a different direction now, and I think with all these 'kids of superstars' entering into the WWE now and with it being highlighted exactly who they are then I feel it would benefit these guys to use something that connects there fathers gimmicks to the one they can use, it doesn't have to be a 100% rip off, just something very similar that will let the people know who they are while showing where they came from
Examples
DH Smith - 'The Canadian Bulldog' Harry Smith (I realise he has already used this) Ted DiBiase Jr - 'The Million Dollar Son' Ted DiBiase Manu - 'Wild Samoan' Manu Cody Rhodes - 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes Joe Hennig - 'Kid Perfect'

| Weren't that (Gold)Dustin's name when her first broke in WCW? It could work a wonder if he start's doing stuff like Orton did when he broke out the Legend Killer gimmick, really sell that he is a nightmare (without going proper OTT into a Blackreign, nightmare-incarnate bollock's up of a charactor), as in he's a propper cunt of a charactor. Make it look as if he's siding with Snuka and Manu, then set 'em up for a big ambush with Orton, then carry it on by taking out his and Orton's opponent's before their matches.
Deeber's charactor already play's on his dad's, just without the name, and the Priceless tag he's put on him and Rhodes will probably be his whemn he goes out solo.
I was thinking a few week's back, when Manu got kicked, team him with Youmanger as the NEW Wild Samoan's, you know, because Youmanger being wild... Have Manu trying to tame him, get Armardo Estrada or w/e they call him, to manage 'em again.

| Estrada got future endeavoured a while ago, but I have been thinking for a while about a break off faction of 2nd Gen stars to go up against Legacy, the only problem I saw was they would have no real main event leader, they could use Manu, Sim Snuka and Goldust, but I forgot about Umaga, I doubt it would last long but Umaga could lead Manu Sim and Goldust but I think Goldust could be the mouthpiece of the group, then possibly have Umaga move over to Legacy | |

| Yeah I realised he was F.E'd lol, but some one of similar look, as he looked like a latin kinda dude, could pass off as Samoan easily.
A couple of problem's having Goldust in, a, he's a comedy charactor at the mo, it would be a challenge getting him over as the right type in time, and, b, they've never really played into him being a 2nd gen star, let alone Cody's bro, would be jumping the shark a little imo.
And if Umaga was involved in any fashion it would have to be 2nd fiddle in this gimmick, he's portrayed as an uncontrollable monster, who's gonna follow that? That's why I feel a manager would be needed because a monster wouldn't make the best leader imo.
But this is what I was hoping for in Hart Foundation 2, a 2nd/ 3rd gen lead stable vs. Legacy going into SS.

| I am sure during the Attitude days he used to come out as a parady of Dusty Rhodes and that wishing everyone a Merry Xmas promo he did a few weeks ago he made a hint at Dusty being his old man
By the By, I don't actually think Goldust would fit in with a group like that, but I think Dustin Rhodes would, without the face paint and without the craziness of the situation, just come out pissed off at Cody disrespecting his old mans memory, also he could come across as a little jealous, while he had to create on of the weirdest characters in WWF/E history to be noticed all Cody does is use his family name

| That was a great promo, had me chuckling throughout lol. I can see where your going, but everytime he tries to 'be himself' he never get's over, in WCW when they had him as that silver dude floating to the ring before he broke kayfabe and basically said what you did, saying that to get over he had to act camp, and everything, that his dad is Dusty, etc... It just never took off, then in TNA he was himself for like a week or two before the Blackreign charactor came out. | |

| I know what your saying, I think his problem was that Goldust was so successful a character (well the start of it was anyway) that it has been hard for him to distance himself from that gimmick, that being said, I wouldn't expect the breakout faction of 2nd generation stars to last long anyway, a short fued led by Dustin in street clothes who could get Umaga to RAW as his major player, then after a few weeks Umaga can turn on them and join the real Legacy stable and Dustin can have a breakdown in the ring and come back as the only character he feels comfortable in again Goldust, the only character no one can hurt! | |

| It might actually get people caring for guys like Snuka and Manu, even if its only for a few weeks and get Goldust some talk time to earn his money, get Umaga back to RAW which is pretty light compared to SD! and there is an angle ready and waiting for him on RAW either with Legacy or Manu | |
