Totally different situation at yours though, Keegan left because of twats interfering in the club and Keane left after he was given money, support and 100% control.

Watching it now on MOTD and Sunderland look a shambles. They need some discipline or some tactics or anything. Some guidance best sums it up. They have decent players but they dont have a system by the looks of things.

And anyway, it was a very disciplined performance. We had our game plan, defend and nothing else and in the end we were fairly unlucky to concede.

Worst team Iv seen at OT in a while, seen second division sides give it more of a go ffs.

We were hardly gonna turn up and try to outplay you though.

Think about it, we have no manager, no confidence, we've lost 6 of our last 7 and our keeper was injured.

We did the only thing our players were capable of doing at that time and we did pretty well to keep you back for 90 minutes.

If you think Sunderland are fucked, look at Watford. Boothroyd had no transfer funds at all, he would have had to sell his best players to boost his squad. Give him just some of the backing that Keane got and he would definately keep you up IMO.
