| calm down. it was only a charity match.
I think that commentators in genereal need to learn the rules of football. As a referee i know the rules inside out and there does not have to be "daylight" between players to be offside. However all commentators seem to think that is the rule. Also they say "That foul was careless and should be a yellow card" although in the laws of the game it states that "A careless challenge is a free kick, a Reckless challenge is a free kick and a yellow card, and a challenge with excessive force is a free kick and a red card"!!!!
bit of rant but hey, commentators are all shit!

| Alan Green. Best commentator by miles and miles. Him and a few others on Five Live.
ITV commentary is truly vile though. David Pleat is the number one dickhead in all of sports punditry and he's up against some pretty stiff opposition lol. BBC are just mediocre really as long as "Motty and Lawro" sod off. You realise Motson always ends up with the Hull Vs Wigan sort of matches on MOTD because he's so crap. Then there's Sky Sports which has all around decent commentators IMO. Gray and Tyler are like King and JR back in the day lol.
