Big Show

Big Show since his return has had one proper feud with Floyd Mayweather and that's it, he's got into shape and has looked a lot better in the ring. I think he deserves a main event spot and I think I've found that spot. (I haven't seen SD the past two weeks) Edge is still away and leaves a big gap for a main event heel, and although MVP is waiting, Big Show is pratically ready now. I would have him team up with Jeff Hardy for a few weeks, as a little and large combination, when they face the tag team champions have Big Show turn on Jeff and then have the match at the end of the feud then put Show into a feud with a main event face.

Thoughts?

Sounds good, Big Show always striked me (stroke me?) as a wrestler who is as good as a heel as he is as a face.

I really like his schtick right now, despite him seeming a little lost and floating around aimlessly. But I like him as a rival to Mark Henry's 'Jolly Giant' routine.

But he could very well heel it up soon, kinda like he did in that match you get a glimpse at in my sig. This could also work with the Jeff Hardy scenario leak described: Hardy and Show team up, Show tags along because he is marginally amused by the turn of events, then snaps and goes apeshit on Hardy and everyone else, because he has had enough.

Dunno if Big Show's ever been over enough to a top dog for any decent length of time. They tried in 99/00 but the fans really weren't into him that much as champ. Fair enough he was competing with an in prime HHH and Rock among others but I don't think he's popular enough at the minute. I actually really like him, think he's a good worker and he's brilliant for his size. Whether he has what it takes to be an interesting top champ is another thing though.

I think he can easily make it as a heel, its much more suited to big people to play the big character as a heel and it would get a lot of heat to go ape shit on Jeff Hardy one of the people in WWE who gets the most reaction in WWE.

That's the thing. He's a good, big, angry heel but so fuck. Who hasn't seen that before? He need something other than a big nasty bastard gimmick if he ever gets in the main events. I'd love to see him try and develop his face persona.

But as you said it'll be hard for him to get into the main event as a face, he should get into the main event as a heel and get as over as possible before turning face.

I like the smiling assassin thing he does, waving and happy one minute and fking people up the next.

He's been used really poorly since his return, which is criminal considering he is 50x better than the great botchieo.

He's in great shape and after Undertaker is their best big man, he should be in the championship scramble ahead of Kendrick, they need to start building him up.

The Kendrick vs Big Show then? That doesn't seem right, not even with Zeke on The's side.

But your limited with what a big fella can do really, especially at main event level. Either he knacks everyone and they beat him or he knacks everyone and wins. It's hard to get away with that at main event level (Khali ) and unlike Khali he hasn't got the big international pull like he does with the whole India thing.

But he is a lot more talented than Khali and has that boxing thing he does, he's got a wider move-set than Khali and could hold his own at a main event level and can win without making the other person look weak.

He's completley different to Khali (IMO )

Riight, I knew I was forgetting something about Khali. Big draw in India, perceived as dreadful everywhere else.

But I guess we are circling in on the problem the Big Show has: He is too big to be stuck in the mid card. Guys his size are bound to end up main eventing pretty often, see Khali.
Despite, or maybe because of his charisma he does not lend himself easily to gimmicks of any sort, except maybe comedy gimmicks.
When a heel, it seemed suffice to give him a simple angry giant gimmick because of his size, but I'd agree with Disco that this is not enough to keep him an interesting main event contender.

I think I could maybe see him in a physcho sort of role, taking people out, not caring how he does it?
