Decent PPV... Good HIAC, will have to watch it again tho, damn msn distractions lol, Cena/ Batista werent too bad either, was totally expecting Santino to get the womans belt, called the Benji interference, and there was nothin wrong with Jeff's elbow looked oright to me anyway... Trip's Khali was pretty poor, but it opened pretty solid, kept that flow through most of the show too, Il have to go back over some matches though, oh and what a mess that ECW match was, didnt expect much but fook me that was poor, 30 second DQ? REFUND? haha. And what an end, Edge sucking flame's... OOOH!

Yep good PPV...I was actually pleasently surprised at the Khali and HHH match...I mean it was kinda bad but it had a nicer flow then expected as u said......Good HIAC but i hoping for a climb to the top...but after seeing the height of the cell I knew that wasnt going to happen

I was actually impressed by Triple H and Khali. They told a great story in their match, IMO.

TBH i thought the Khali match was shit.
Most of the moves HHH tryed to do on his took twice as long as they normally would, and then when ever HHH attacked Khails legs he went down like hed been friggin shot. 4/10

Very good hell in a cell, no one else could have put on a match that good, but with that whole Edge burning thing looks like its gonna be setup for Edge to return for Taker vs Edge XVII. 8.5/10

Jeff vs MVP seemed a bit short and Shleton costing Hardy the win was stupid considering he was after MVP. Seems to me that all Hardys matches now are using exactly the same moves so mabye he needs a few good ladder matches. 7/10

Santino and Beth vs Kofi and Mickie for me was the best match of the night, purly because of Santinos great performance. Words cant describe how good he was and then get 'K'OD' by a Mickie James DDT was the icing on the cake. 9/10

Batista vs Cena now this match was a lot better than i was expecting, although i was thinking some one would turn heel here. It was a fast paced match with lots of nice big moves. 7.5/10

Looks like HBK isnt retiring and they set up a continuation of the feud nicely it wasnt just a simple, 'Oh, you called me a coward so im gonna kick your ass now' it added more depth and more reason to hate Jericho. Good segment. 8/10

Punk vs JBL now i thought this match was gonna be piss poor but i was plesently suprised and although i hoped for a Orton interferance it was still a good match plenty of good wrestling although ffs Punk needs to learn a few more moves and a lot less kicks. Nasty cut to the head Punk got near the end but a good solid finish. No complaints. 7/10

i thought this ppv was dissapointing apart from the taker/edge match which was brilliant. tbh i just fast forwarded until HIAC then watched that 4 times lol

lol i would seriously watch the Santino match if you havent seen it though. The actual match was bollocks but Santino and Beth are funnny as hell

I agree with you, I didn't think much of this PPV and glad I watched it for free although the HIAC match is the only thing worth paying £14.99 for.

Also is it me or do WWE not like ECW title matches at there big PPV's as we that 1 minute match at Wrestlemania and a 1 minute match at Summerslam.

Yet another sub-par Summerslam show. Everything was pretty average until the main event, where Edge and Taker unsurprisingly put on yet another match of the year candidate. Because of that match, the overall rating of the show is slightly better than last years, but the rest of the card was just as bad.

Is summerslam still considered part of the "big 4"?.... HA, IMO this was average at best, HIAC was by far the best match, and I don't know if its because I was on the Stella's or what, but is it just me or was Cena/Batista WAAAAYY better than expected??

I used to love summerslam, now its just another generic PPV.

Yeah Cena vs Batista surprised me too, was expecting a match as bad as HHH vs Khali, but it ended up being a reasonable bout, maybe **1/2. It's bullshit that the World Title matches were in the midcard though, makes them seem a bit worthless.

Yeah that I can understand, at least there was a point to it, but why have Cena vs Batista as the semi-main event?

I'm suprised MVP beat Jeff but I think it is a good thing, hopefully this means somewhat of a push for MVP, I think alot of people have been waiting for it, especially after he lost the U.S. title, hopefully this is the start of good things.

I was suprised that Kofi and Mickie lost, I'm guessing they'll have Kofi win back his title and Beth keep hers. But I think Beth as women's champion is a good thing, she's probably the best women wrestler in the WWE atm, and deserves the title. IMO Kofi should have the title over Santino, and I reckon KK might win it back this Raw.

Don't know why WWE just don't let Matt get the title, the're obviously trying to make it a longlasted feud but going the wrong way about it, and the second thing is nobody cares. The title isn't even the main part of ECW anymore, despite what WWE think.

No suprises with HHH beating Khali, now I want to see a proper feud over the title, with Taker, or even MVP.

Suprised Batista beat Cena, Cena lost at the last PPV so I thought he'd get the win, although Batista lost at the last PPv too. IMO I don't think this is the end, I can see it picking up again over a world title around WM 25.

'Taker beat Edge, wasn't too suprised about this. I wonder if Edge is taking time off, or he'll be back soonish, if he's back sooner rather than later, I'd like to see him feud with HHH again. But I was enjoying this new Edge and I was actually hoping he might pick up a win they way they'd built it up.

Sure was the HIAC a damn good one. But was it better, than the others? No, cause you can't do much more new spots within the devils playground.
What's the result of the PPV? Edge has before been pushed to the greatest heel, with a good connection to the familia stable, the storyline was going to get great material. But now? It's finished before reaching the edge (what a wordplay).

Yes it is better then most HIAC's...lately there hasnt even been any action outside of the cell like there was for this one

MVP vs. Jeff Hardy

Sometimes MVP has the door sometimes he doesn't they should make their minds up, he still lacks to get a big crowd reaction. Jeff's elbow looks okay. I thought at times the match was two one-sided, but saying that it is a Jeff Hardy match so that's what normally happens, just suprised he didn't get the win at the end, too slow IMO. Nice Belly to Belly from MVP. MVP showed alot of potential in this match and I think one of his best showing since his matches with Benoit. I can see a good three-way feud with Benjiman, Hardy and MVP, or even a Hardy/Benjiman feud although, if the latter was the case, the mic work wouldn't be something you should be looking forward to.

Santino Marrella and Beth Phoenix vs. Kofi Kingston and Mickie James.

I would preferred if Mickie and Kofi came out together, it would have given them abit more credibility as a team. Beth is very strong. Could see it coming, Mickie beating up Santino. Kofi, is good in the ring, like a mix between Benjiman and Jeff Hardy. Santino jumping into Beth's arms Scooby Doo style; brilliant. Didn't think they should have had Beth taking on Kofi, makes Kofi look unneccesarily weak, it's ok with Santino as he's a comedy character, but not Kofi, but so far little of it so it's okay. I think Santino can wrestle to a certain extent, a nice snap suplex, if they let him show it off a bit more he could be a decent mid-carder, as he's good on the mic. Nice DDT by Mickie on Santino. I've told what I think about the win above.

Shawn Micheals segment

This will be one of the most interesting things for me as I didn't read what happened during this. Comes out with his wife, is that his real wife? Good promo from Shawn, don't think his 'wife' can act very well. Y2J interupts, I knew from the start he wasn't going to retire but I was starting to turn just as Jericho's music hit. Brilliant mic work from Jericho, IMO the best people on the mic ever; The Rock, Shawn Micheals, Chris Jericho, Stone Cold. Didn't see that coming, Jericho smacking his wife. Good acting from Jericho, not a normal heel, didn't look smug, looked more worried. I felt the ending was dragged on a little too much. I'm thinking maybe I can see what happened during the breaks as well

Shawn Michaels will not retire, its simply part of the story, I think this angle will bring a more demonic HBK to the ring, one with an attitude we have not seen for a while, I am hoping his wife does play more of an on screen character for him, at least for a prolonged period initially, it could be the difference between him deciding he can dedicate enough time to the business to actually have another run with one of the world titles
