World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Braden Walker as of August 7, 2008. WWE wishes Braden the best in all future endeavors.

| It's a bit premature though isn't it?
I suppose his two TV matches weren't all that but I never saw anything truly awful from him. Very harsh IMO. I have a sinking feeling he was used to make TNA look shit. Take an ex TNA guy, build him up and then fire him basically saying he's good enough for TNA but not us. | |

| I was kind of shocked to see the Fat Cat released so soon, but I kind saw it coming at some point. His two matches weren't good TV at all and he really looked out of shape. I think if he were to take the time to get back to being the Wildcat and not the Fat Cat, then WWE would take him back, because when he's in shape he can really produce in the ring. | |
