Matt Sydal worked as Evan Bourne at last night's ECW taping from Fresno, California. Bourne teamed with Kofi Kingston to face Shelton Benjamin and Mike Knox in a match that will air on this Tuesday's edition of ECW on Sci-Fi.

Sydal, a former Ring of Honor wrestler, has been in WWE developmental for several months and debuted on television on last week's edition of ECW on Sci-Fi. He is now on the ECW roster as Evan Bourne.

how queer, people were even chanting matt sydal last week, wonder how evan bourne is in any way more pleausurable for the american public

I'd love him to get involved with Burchill, show Vince that these are the guys that need investing in, not the likes of Batista, Khali etc.

Sydal is yet another reason why ECW is THE show at the moment.

aye, burchill needs to face people so he can do the C4 and be over with the crowd, or gauge a reaction.

sydal wont have any problems if hes aluod to use some of "his own" moves/new moves.

Damn it, in this clip it seems like Sydal is one of them Superheroes that creates a field of zero-gravity around him. I guess it's true, if he is in the ring with someone who is too heavy or likely to botch a move then everybody in the ring dies.

And I agree completely in that the name change occurred so that they can have lame puns a la "Looks like someone's getting airbourn" or "bourn special".

plus i guess it could be seen as more serious, whats his new first name lol?
