It's going to make the Championship interesting next season, Villa and Newcastle down, to go with the 3 play-off losers, clubs like Leeds, Forest, Ipswich, Cardiff... of the three dropping, I think Norwich may be the best placed to come straight back up.

I think your right Greician, Norwich are the best bet to come straight back up, near enough the same squad as they were promoted with last time.
The Geordies don't have any fight in the team and will need it in the championship.
Villa i can see being near the bottom end of the table next year.

Newcastle have some good young players on the books, so that might be the way they compete. New defence and they might be alright. Unless bigger clubs bid for them and Ashley accepted as a last FU to fans

I think it all depends on the manager of newcastle. Nigel Pearson will be ideal. I can't see too many players going. Townsend and sissoko probably. Jemal lacelles the young centre back has great potential. Wouldn't suprise me if he is snapped up. cisse to China probably. The rest? Who'd take them?

Same with Villa. If Lerner is still in charge, they're doomed. If the supposed Chinese consortium buys them, they'll spend a fortune and should be well. Assuming they can keep a few players (Westwood, Grealish, Clark, Gestede scores goals in the Championship), get a new keeper and lose some of the absolute flops like N'Zogbia, they could do okay.
