Court case has been brought forward to Monday. Huge rumour going round up here that there is a blackmail claim kicking about, and it's johnson being blackmailed.

If true this whole thing could be called off.

So Alan Johnson pleads guilty of grooming a minor and one charge of sexual activity with a minor but pleads not guilty of two other charges with sexuality activity with a minor.

I feel he's let the club down. Supported him throughout. I don't know why he didn't plead guilty to start with.

From reading the evidence, he had to plead guilty. They've got him utterly nailed for grooming. apparently that has a 2 1/2 year maximum sentence. However, if they also find him guilty for underage sex, it goes up to 14 years as a maximum.

Either way, he's finished.
