- It's bad news for Wade Barrett, The WWE Superstar injured his shoulder during Tuesday night's SmackDown taping.
Dr. Chris Amann, a physician for WWE, told WWE.com that "Bad News" Barrett "sustained an injury to his right shoulder when he was thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger."
"After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop, we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder," Amann added. "We’re going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury."
It's tough to speculate too much into the future without any sort of timetable for Barrett's injury. More than likely, though, he won't participate in the MITB match. His Intercontinental Championship reign may also be coming to a premature end.
