A short promo video aired, announcing Batista's return on the 20 January raw.

I think this could ruin a lot of wrestlemania predictions!

And Ruin Wrestlemania...

It was meant to be a surprise return but some daft cunt in the WWE advertised him for some shit around rumble time, and it was all over the dirt sheets, so i think they just gave up and decided to advertise the return on Raw.

Gives him a few weeks to put a good bit of weight back on as the last photo i saw of him he was quite slim looking.

My guess is that he's on the same kind of three or month deal that Jericho and RVD had.

Which is about right, I couldn't stand Dave back on a permanent basis. Although I'll be bloody annoyed if he comes back and wins the Rumble.

Apparently he's on a near full time schedule (probably no house shows but every Raw etc) and will be around beyond WM. I presume till Summerslam or so as I reckon they will advertise the fact they have someone from a big marvel movie, they seem to still like to promote how The Rock is doing in films even when he's not around.

Not really looking forward to a Batista return as he's probably going to return as a face, his heel work was much better.

Did anyone see the Good Santa v Bad Santa match? was it worth watching or was it just the regular 2 min match where Mark Henry wins?

I'd have thought Batista would be joining The Authority on his return and Evolution back together as a side note.

It was a standard wwe attempt at 'comedy', including Sandows head going into an empty toilet in the ring, which he obviously sold. Terrible.

Thinking back, that show was one of the shitiest shows i've seen from WWE for quite a bit.

Was talking to my mate about him returning the other night in the pub and he was made up about it. I think he's basically repressed all his actual matches (especially as a face) and has just remembered his heel promos which in all fairness were fantastic.

Cant really recount too many truly great Batista matches apart from his match Undertaker at one of the Wrestlemanias.
