TLC Main Event

Put spoiler incase anyone hadn't seen.

Main event of TLC will be Randy Orton Vs John Cena in a TLC match with both titles hanging above the ring. Grecian I think you nailed it, I reckon we're going to see a title switch, Orton will walk out WHC and Cena as WWE champion. Can see Cena at the top undoing the WWE title, Orton pushing him off but Cena falls with the title leaving Orton to take the WHC.

I'd rather they unified the titles but a title switch would be an interesting (if pointless)twist. Such a title change would have meant more if they still had the two different brands that rarely crossed over. As it is, all this would mean is that rather than seeing Cena on Raw with the World Title, we'd see him on Raw with the WWE Title. I'm not sure I care.

Pish, they could've at least have this at the Rumble if not WM. Too early for this pish.

Thats the thing though this isn't a unification, I reckon we will see that at Mania or RR still this is just sowing the seeds for it

Depends how they handle it for me, I'd have said RR as it would probably have a direct link to Mania. Still reckon we will have the actual unification match at Mania.

Seriously though, a match between the two biggest stars in the company for both world titles is not a match you have on a 'b PPV' with a 3 week build to build to a future match.

They're probably doing this match now precisely because they only have three weeks to build up to it. It needs very little actual build up. Top face (allegedly) vs top heel, champion vs champion, ladder match. In theory that's pretty much all you need to say to get people interested. Plus Cena and Orton already have a long history. It's not really a new feud that needs to be built from scratch.

Waste of the TLC match though

It was announced on last night's Raw that it is a Unification match. Still think this is going to end up with one winning each of the belts, and the title then either going to a singles match at the Rumble, or the Rumble winner wins the title instead.

how can two people win one match Grec? Surely that can't fit in with the supposed rules of the match. If it's a unification match, pulling down one belt each should mean shit all.

If they take a title each at the same time etc then presumably its a draw

but if they call it a unification match, then it isn't over until they're unified. But then again WWE has got lazy from making things fit the kayfabe rules. Makes it pointless if they ignore the fact it's supposed to be real and governed by rules. If they simply said both titles are on the line then that ending works.
