Who am I trying to convince. We r fucked but a win against Newcastle on Sunday and it won't matter! That is the thinking of a lot of mackems. This season is a right off. Poyet just has to get us playing together and if/when he does I think it will be to late.

Mowbray been sacked. I feel a bit gutted always liked Mogga as a player .But has had a torrid year with us only getting 2 wins in 12. And has only lasted as long as he as because of who he is.

Is it 20 games now since your last win? I agree that once you get that first win under your belt, a few more will follow, it's a question of when the players will have the confidence to hang on for that win.

I'm not getting ahead of myself with Exeter, last season's stunning end-of-season collapse is still too fresh in my mind! But it would be awesome to be in a higher division than Plymouth, Torquay, both Bristol clubs and potentially the same as Yeovil.

Nick Powell is special. He's scored a goal tonight further proving his technical excellence. Visually it's just a low 22 yard strike, but technically it's world class. He's not looked at the ball or the goal, taken a touch while looking for a team mate then hit it whilst still looking out to the side, completely fooling the keeper and getting the ball to not even brush the post but find the very corner of the net.

And like his wonder goal at Wembley, he just does it naturally without effort. Total awareness on the pitch. And he's not Belgian...

Henderson will be a player like huddlestone, almost had it, but has been/will be overtaken by the slightly younger crop, who are technically much better. But Sunderland made a tidy profit. I fear the money has been wasted though and some big money is leaving the club to sit in the wallets of a bunch of below average players

On Henderson, I've said on this forum before Henderson is a player who irritates you. 20m is a lot of dough. He is the only central midfield player who leaves the pitch with shirt tucked in and with hair in place, but he will be the next Steven Gerard!

Yeah read he turned palace to come to us, it makes me think he has been promised money to spend in jan. He was also manager of the Spanish Under 16s so hopefully he will have some links to Spanish youngsters.

Peter Taylor is one of those managers who just always seems to find work, no matter how crap he is anywhere that isn't the England under 21's.

its just plain mental we sack a manager that wins us the league then employ someone as an 'interim manager' , since he has taken over we are one place lower than when allen was sacked ......yet we give him full time job ......

funny thing is old nutter allen is a good survival manager and won league two, you'd think he'd be ideal to get you at least safe for one season. We're doing badly because of the players, be mad if we sacked Davis just because some players are shite.

We've somehow sent Neil Kilkenny on loan to Preston and he's agreed to be a free agent in Jan so probably won't play for us again.
