The McMahons and WrestleMania XXX

Depends whose face and whose heel. Can't see Vince losing control and not being face at the time.

Vince face - Jericho/Vince heel - Ryback or Dean Ambrose

Vince is back to being a heel at the moment, I think it'd take something pretty special to switch him and Trips over in that respect.

I just can't see it though, Vince in danger of losing WWE. How would it work being heel? Only way I see it is Triple H trying to take WWE from Vince.

Either way Vince is going to be highly emotional after it, any heelish things Vince does before will be forgotten.

I reckon he'll have his final run as a stupidly evil heel, HHH will have to save the company and become 100% in control. Then at any point down the line HHH can hit the ego heel turn as GM and be the new Vince, as it were. Rarely fighting but present as a character.

I feel it will be Vince's retirement run, and he'll want to go out with his best character, which is the insanely evil heel. He will probably still want to kill off the character, so don't rule out something huge. I would put a bet on that he leaves in an ambulance. On screen heart attacks now have more credibility thanks to King.

Can't see that at all tbh, put a side all the history etc and pretty much anything recently has had Austin against Vince, battle of the billionaires etc would Triple H really be the guy you want to put Austin in a match with?

Surely CM Punk while providing a top fued would also mean Austin is in some of the safest hands possible for the match.

CM Punk's contract is running up next year apparently there going to let him win the rumble and the title at WM off Cena to make him stay in WWE.

If it's last on I think it may persuade him, however if its not I think he'd rather work with Austin.

I was a huge Austin mark, but is he really relevant 11 years on for such a big story? Unless HHH tears through the entire roster going over all the current stars and Vince has no one else to turn to...

It doesn't feel like 11 years ago, i was only 17.

That's why I think working with Punk would be better, the fued build up could be epic and could make sense.

Thats the only thing Punk said he has left to do in Wrestling that he wants to do and that he feels he deserves it but has never gotten the chance... The whole Austin vs Punk thing would be good Straight edge vs Beer drinker

If Punk was offered Austin at WM30 I don't think he'd refuse, it's a once in a lifetime offer and he could be offered the main event for WM31.

The report states that creative pitched the idea but it was never officially confirmed. The plan now seems to have been scrapped, with no plans to bring it up again. It is unclear at this point why the writers squashed the idea, but they have also discussed The Rock's taking Austin's place.

Furthermore, WWE SummerSlam we will see Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon all together reuniting, at which point Triple H will turn heel. For the build up to WrestleMania XXX.
