| He's going at the end of the season.
Sounds like Moyes or Mourinho in line to succeed him.

| I've been wondering about how when Steve Bruce has a decent squad I.E in the Championship he tends to win alot of games, something that people may overlook. He has that winning mentality and obviously knows United inside out.
Weren't they talking about how the new chief wanted Dortmunds manager too?

| Klopp supposedly wants to stay in Germany, for me this timing is way too convenient with mourinho looking to return to England | |

| Fergie has always wanted Moyes to replace him hes spoken about it a lot im sure he could get a say or even recommend him.
I would love to see Mourinho go there to piss all the chelsea fans.

| Is David Moyes all that though? Personally I think he is one of the most over-rated managers there is. People say he's worked miricales with the size of his squad and the money he has had but yet he is still hasnt won a trophy. An FA Cup final and a Champions League qualifier is the best he's done. He hasnt even won the Carling Cup. Birmingham and Swansea have. Surely Everton are a bigger club than those two.
Also, I believe David Moyes is one, if not the, highest paid managers in the premier league.
Regarding the next manager at Manchester Utd, I dont think it will be mourinho. I think he's nailed on to go to chelsea. It is looking like it will be David Moyes.

| From what I read on the BBC and from it will be someone that knows the club, will promote youth and play attractive football. There is a fairly big list of people who have once been involved or are still at Utd, and they mentioned regarding chief execs how they like to promote from within in most roles at the club.
If it were to be Mourinho there would be no long term plan, unless his final goal is to emulate Sir Alex, thus want to settle for many years at a club. He's met alot of personal goals and maybe becoming a legend at one club is the only thing left for him?
They can go down the less experienced route too though, knowing Sir Alex will still be around and the key staff and squad are in good nick. This might leave it open to Solskjear.
Also, with an announcement to come before this weekend, that would be unfair on Everton if it were Moyes. So it seems likely they have a plan in place whatever happens, but you'd think Everton wouldn't be very happy with it being announced before the end of the season.

| It'll be Moyes. My dad heard a rumour on the radio that fergie put forward Mourinho's name to take over but the board turned it down believing he would be too much trouble and not fit with the club. | |

| If Rooney does leave wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Real Madrid tbh.
Depends if Chelsea still want Falcao as main target.

I can't could only see him leaving England for one of the very best clubs in Europe, PSG aren't in that catagory. Biggest clubs are Barca, Real and maybe AC Milan otherwise he may as well stay in England. May go to Chelsea.... Anyway, chances of Moyes' first signings being Baines and Fellaini....?

| I can see Martin oneill getting the Everton job.
I think it will be a tricky year for moyes at utd, if Jose mourhino goes to Chelsea, man city splash out again and arsenel keep improving, it could be an interesting season.

| apparently they are close to signing Ronaldo back though I think either him or Bale will be at UTD next year. As for Baines, they signed Buttner and have Evra, so it might be pointless. | |

| Evra hasn't been his best for 2 years now IMO. I think he could move on. Also I can only see brained going to Everton. No other player will. Ruins Fellini will go abroad
I was thinking bale to man Utd for a while. Unsure about ronaldo.

| O'Niell would turn Everton into a mid table or worse team I fear.
Reckon it will be Martinez would like them to go for Solskjaer.
