The Rock At WM 30

I know there was their whole kayfabe agreement about not fueding again but if Orton is to turn heel and say Taker can't go next year, anyone see Orton Vs Cena resurfacing seeing as how they never had a match on the biggest stage?

Just trying to think of top level heels Cena hasn't had anything to do with considering he will be given a huge match. Only a few candidates stand out, Cesaro if he progresses well, Dean Ambrose same as Cesaro, Wade Barrett depending how the next year goes and finally Ryback if he were to turn heel.

To be honest I'm not fussed about what happens at WM30. It's well over a year away and plans change all the time. For all I know they might decide to have Rock vs Undertaker or Rock vs Ryback or Rock vs Hornswoggle. I think I'll just wait and see.

In the build up to their Iron Man match it was said that it would be the last time they would face each other, for the title at least... But they have been kept apart from each other as much as possible since (bar the Barrett Vs Orton with Cena as special guest ref), on different brands/going after different titles.

It's been almost 4 years since they have faced each other due to Orton's face turn so if Orton turns heel, Cena is in need of a top opponent for WM30 and I think it could be Orton.

i started watching wwe aagain round this time as got sky and i remeber every ppv was cena v orton which was annoying as fuck .

also completley off topic but watching royal rumble from last month as was half asleep when watched last time did anoyne notice jr saying

I found Orton Vs Cena a really good feud, no idea who would win each of the matches and they do work well with each other, just Cena gets told to overplay everything

Aye, I remember that. They built it up as the last time they'd ever face each other... and then they wrestled each other on Raw about a fortnight later in the finals of a No 1 contender tournament or something.

Going briefly back on topic, Rock being announced this early for Mania 30 is not a good move. They need to build new headliners quite urgently, and just being able to rely on Rock to bump the Mania buyrate will stop them doing it. Especially as I can see Cena winning their next match, so they'd need the final match to see who wins.

All Rocky does is bump a buyrate. He doesn't help create new stars, him tearing into Cena was funny, but in his current run, he's trying to do the same jokey shite with Punk and it doesn't work. If WWE spend the next year building Dolph Ziggler (for example), Rocky will tear him apart promo-wise, and could potentially undo a lot of the work. Punk can promo with the best and hold his own; I can't think of many more in WWE who can.

Yeah agree the reason it hasn't harmed Punk is because Punk has out done him in their promos, Dolph is alright but if Rock hits form he'd be done. Cena was an easy target because their was so much ammunition for that feud.

I think the Cena/Orton stipulation applies for title matches, so they could just have them face each other without a title on the line, or just as usual forget they said it....
