dolph is involved in a big storyline though, so the number of wins might not matter too much to the viewer. If he's the one who nailed AJ he is instantly a bigger name, as it will get people talking about him more.

Not if he then loses to every main-eventer in sight, as he has been doing for the past couple of years.

Test nailed Steph, then got buried back into the midcard by jobbing to everyone back in the day. I can see something very similar happening with Dolph, unless he finally gets given a clean win over anyone.

I agree, Dolph needs a clean win over someone. But who would be the logical choice?

Either Cen/Orton or a recent World Champ if we are to believe he will be a realistic World Champ. Seamus might be a good shout when he's done with Big Show or ADR if Dolph turns.

I'd go with Rey - Rey and him would have excellent matches, and still is good and over enough for it to be a major statement.

the match still makes no sense anyway. Didn't watch all of Raw, but I doubt they even tried to make it look like dolph and foley don't get on. They've set up dolph vs cena, but unless dolph costs cena the win, and punk takes advantage, then that feud will have to wait until the next PPV. Such a mess, dolph could litterally cash in mitb, win a survivor series match vs some big names and then cost Cena the title vs Cm Punk. But he will only do one of those, if that. Probably none as he will lose his actual match. I repeat, mess. Someone they are reluctant to actually push has interests in the 3 biggest matches.

no mention of dolph & foley feud. Foley came out & confronted Punk & then told Punk hes the special enforcer for his match against Cena later so Foley wasn't even involved with dolph.

the match wouldn't be relevant if it was the rock, stone cold, vince mcmahon, HHH and shaun michaels. It's a big irrelevant mess and will always be, until they fucking do something with Dolph that has any bloody impact on Mick Foley. They could easilly have had Foley stick up for Cena and AJ and cut a promo on Vicki and Dolph
