- WWE has made another change to their 2012 pay-per-view schedule, according to the event listing. The Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view has replaced Bragging Rights for the month of June. It also appears that they have dropped the TLC pay-per-view from December as Bragging Rights is now in the December slot.

| I'm not disappointed TLC has gone. Obviously, it's one of those dreaded gimmick PPV's but it was also too similar to Extreme Rules. What's the point of having a PPV dedicated to ladder matches, when you had a ladder match (Del Rio vs Christian) main eventing a different PPV 8 months earlier? | |

| I think they are starting to realise gimmick PPV's are rubbish. Is HIAC gone? | |

No, I think they got rid of Vengeance instead.

Not to mention the fact that Money in the Bank is another PPV centred around Ladder matches. Assuming they're keeping MITB as a PPV, I agree that they don't need TLC. That said, unless they do something different with Bragging Rights this year, you have to wonder whether they really need a PPV in December that has an Elimination tag match as a main attraction right after Survivor Series in November.

I completely forgot about the MITB PPV, but you're right. With Bragging Rights, they might have RAW vs SmackDown in just one on one matches. I do think the rebranding of the video games from RAW vs SmackDown to just WWE 12, and the concept of the dual-branded RAW SuperShow indicates they may well do something different this year.

- WWE officials have apparently decided to drop the Money in the Bank pay-per-view this July and replace it with another concept - the TLC pay-per-view. As noted before, they have been planning to bring the Money in the Bank ladder match back at WrestleMania this year.
Unless the schedule changes again, Bragging Rights will be replacing TLC in December for this year.

| MITB 2011, wasnt that the one that got the most people genuinely excited about in years, that actually delivered on every angle and made you glad you still watched wrestling?
So in their wisdom they dump it for next year.

So in their wisdom they dump it for next year. Aye, that's the one. I don't see why MITB has to go back to Mania, I'd rather they had a 6 man IC/US title match for the stunt match. it'd give some credibility back to a mid-card title, and essentially have the same role as MITB. It'd be one hell of a platform for, say, Cody Rhodes to retain the belt in that kind of match and then move up to challenging for the world title.

So in their wisdom they dump it for next year. To be fair it was the booking of the World and WWE Title matches as much as the MITB matches that made that particular PPV worth watching. The MITB definitely added something to it - they were excellent and, for the most part, unpredictable - but on the night I think most people were more interested in the Punk/Cena match than the MITB matches. Having said that I do agree that a MITB PPV would be preferable to a TLC one. Someone's already said that TLC is too similar to Extreme Rules and now the two PPVs will be even closer together than before.
