WWE Dropping a Pay-Per-View

drop hell in a cell and move vengeance forward to where hell in a cell would have been!

Hell In A Cell matches should be reserved for special fueds and not have 2 a year.

I don't mind elimination chamber every year, as it serves a purpose. To get to the biggest PPV you have to go through the chamber, but the cell matches? theyve mostly been crap fueds.

Agreed with Hodge. Get rid of Hell in A Cell. Vengeance is a better ppv anyway. Having two HIAC matches every year takes away the excitement of it. Should only be used to settle a really big feud.

Agreed on the dropping HIAC.

Used to absolutely love the moments when the match was mentioned, would get really excited because they were so rare, but now with the PPV it has completely taken away the prestige of the match, should only be used for top feuds, like when they were first used you had guys like HBK, Mick Foley, HHH and of course Taker, and these guys were amazing at them, even the 6 man was a decent enough match! Now it's just, meh..

Hell in a cell matches are shite anyway, no cunt goes outside and climbs to the top anymore.

HIAC would be fine for a PPV if they used the matches to actually end feuds that had been building over the Summer. Then could start setting some new feuds up for Survivor Series.

Generally I do agree though that dropping Hell in a Cell would have been a better move. But Vengeance drew very low buys on PPV so I can see why they might think that it should be dropped. In the eyes of WWE gimmicks sell so that's why they'll stick with Hell in a Cell.

Presumably this will mean one less 'free' PPV on Sky Sports?

I thought Sky Sports would have had a certain number of PPV's in their contract to show on SS1/2/3

Perhaps, but if that were the case then it will now mean moving one PPV from Box Office to Sky Sports. Presumably putting them on Box Office makes Sky more money so I can't really see them agreeing to that. I imagine things will stay as they are

Im sure i read something that more were going to be on Box office rather than 'free' on Sky Sports.

I would like them to just have, Wrestlemania, summerslam, survivor series, Royal Rumble, Backlash for the ppv after mania, and any other random PPV name. I would have no gimmick PPV's let the EC's and HIAC be shown on one of the six PPV's stated.
Let feuds build up over the months without PPV's, even add in King of the Ring on one of the months with out a PPV.
