According to Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson, “Xbox LIVE brings your games, music, movies, and TV shows to your favorite Microsoft and Windows devices. ”
This could mean that you could download a game from XBLA onto your PC and access it there and on your Xbox 360, as well Smartphones which have a Windows 8 OS. The same could stretch to movies and music.
The BUILD event, a place where developers can learn more about developing for Windows, is currently taking place in California so expect more news regarding the key features of Xbox LIVE on Windows 8.
