Backstage News on Triple H & Undertaker's Current Storyline

Taker was originally scheduled to face Wade Barrett and Triple H was set to face Sheamus at WrestleMania but the two got together and realized that WrestleMania 27 had no special match. As WWE's two most power political forces, they felt they could take control of their own angle without much in the way of outside influence.

Shawn Michaels is still expected to be introduced into the storyline and have a role at WrestleMania, possibly as a referee or an enforcer. The idea behind the storyline is that Triple H is going at Taker for revenge after Taker ended his best friend's career.

There is some concern on The Undertaker as his recuperation from the recent surgery is going slower than they had hoped for, even though he's worked hard with physical therapy. Taker's match with Triple H at WrestleMania 27 is expected to be the main event.

I think the match is going to be pretty terrible myself

Im not expecting much from the match, so hopefully i'll be surprised, doubt it though.

I think the main event should be a title match. Undertaker v HBK last year was ok for a one off but this year it should be Cena v Miz for main event as the rock is bound to be involved.

HHH v Undertaker seems shite to me. There other opponents would be more suited to the storyline.

I'm looking forward to HHH vs Undertaker (Barrett vs Taker would have been crap IMO, Barrett seems to be losing momentum every week) but I don't want Michaels to be involved in the match.

I agree with Mackem, HBK vs Taker last year was a one off, HHH vs Taker shouldn't (and I don't think will be) the main event.

I do wonder if the match will be 2 out of 3 falls just so HHH can claim to be the only man to have pinned Taker at WrestleMania (but HHH still loses, if you know what I'm getting at).

I reckon the build up to it could be alright, the match won't be anything special, but if they can get the emotions right in it, it could turn out alright.

Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels was a good match which surprised most people, with Haitch and Taker's experience they should be able to put on a decent match at least.
