Backstage News on Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

What's the point in having Lesnar back if he's just going to lose all the time - and, what's more, lose to people like Cena and Triple H who don't need a win.

Surely, if he's supposed to be in a big match at next year's WrestleMania (which I presume is the point of him being back at all) he should be winning what few matches he's actually involved in.

Lesnar can do one in my opinion. Omly good thing about his return is Paul Heyman

I've already lost interest in Lesnar after his loss to Cena. If HHH beats him too, it just makes Lesnar look weaker than never before, which is some feat considering after his first WWE run, he went on to legitimately kick the ass of cagefighters. If Lesnar wins, who cares, Cena is tougher than him.

If Lesnar hadn't had a hissy fit after extreme rules he probably would have been used better, people like ziggler may have also been given a go with him. However since he has and Vince is pissed with him its squash central for the rest of his appearances.

apparantly Cena was supposed to be stretcherd out after a quick snatch and grab win after Lesnar beat him up for the match.

Unless Cena got attacked after the match, that would have made no sense (I'm not saying you're lying, just criticizing that planned ending). If you can't even make it to your feet, how on earth did you lift a 300 pound + man onto your shoulders moments earlier?

That being said, Cena being stretchered out would have been better than cutting some bizarre post-match promo. Ideally, I wouldn't have had Brock lose, full stop. The "unstoppable monster" was his believeable niche, now taken by Big Show AND Ryback. To lose his first match back is crazy. Keep him and Cena apart, if you don't want Cena to job.

My money's on Triple H losing.

He's had a ton of criticism over the years for politics, not putting people over and burying them, but when business needs him to put someone over, he does. he made Batista. His long run with Jeff Hardy turned Jeff from a spot-monkey into a legit world champion. Randy Orton was helped massively by being in Evolution and mixing with Trips on TV on a weekly basis.

At this stage, trips knows he has to do what's right for WWE, and not just his own career. By that reckoning, he'll lose to Brock. brock becomes unstoppable again, and then faces someone like Punk on route to the Undertaker at Mania next year.

I think Lesnar will win at SummerSlam. I agree with what Grecian says, and I think sometimes the abuse Triple H gets is unwarranted because he has put wrestlers over when the time is right.
