Eric Young Reportedly Gone from TNA

But they'd probably give him the comedy/clown gimmick too.

Don't blame him as he is very talented, but TNA don't seem to know what to do with him and his current gimmick only worked well when he was in the Team Canada Stable as the comedy member of the group who became there puppets (and later Jeff Jaretts when Team Canada joined Planet Jarrett), but apart from they should have just left him as a serious character like he was in World Elite.

i think he was best when he was heel in World Elite and with Nash

Always hated Young as the goofy fool, but when he went heel he showed he had talent, what a waste.

I think the goofy fool routine worked when he was in Team Canada as it added something storyline wise because Team Canada were a serious group and he was hated by the rest of the group for not being serious, but the moment Team Canada split the goofy Eric routine was pointless.

I agree with Bazz and Bosch, when he was Heel in World Elite that was when he was at his best.

anyone with a voice that grizzly can be a heel tbh though, not seen him actually wrestle in so long i have forgotten if he is anything special?

They really wasted him after Hogan & Bischoff came in, he really seemed like he was going places and his segments during his World Elite days were generally some of the best stuff on Impact. Hopefully wherever he ends up he'll be allowed to portray that more serious side as it really suited him.

-- Eric Young has reportedly signed a new deal with TNA Wrestling. He had been in negotiations even though his contract had ended. According to a backstage source, the new deal will allow him to take independent dates when TNA doesn't need/use him. TNAWrestlingNews.com is reporting that the company is also still negotiating with Kevin Nash and Rhino as well.
