Eric Young

Just got round to watching TNA from Saturday and once again they have put Eric in a stupid gimmick where he is acting the clown all over again the guy is very underrated and should never be in this position where he is the clown i don't understand why TNA have dropped him from Kevin Nash where i think he had something good going and it would have helped him. I also think him and Nash as a tag team was pretty good or had potential. Does anyone else feel this is a stupid move ?

Defo, i was loving him as heel, now he's has to do this stupid shit, he plays the clown well, but i dont like it.

He's somebody who is capable of making the best of whatever he is given. Unfortunately though when the gimmick is like this, it doesn't matter how well you play the part, you can't be seen as a serious competitor and hope to progress up the ranks.

To be honest, I'm not a fan. He looks better with the shaved head and leather jacket though.

I went to the Impact Zone when he was a comedy face and quite honestly it's amazing how over he was with the TNA fans.

I really like Eric Young and I think given the right gimmick he could be huge. He's for a solid in all departments but just for some reason hasn't quite found the thing to get him over.
I know the following comparison is pushing it but he reminds of Austin pre 3:16. A great all round guy just waiting for that one moment to make it to the grand stage.

I agree with Gunman with the fact that he could do any gimmick given to him. Given time I think this could work. I'm not that into it atm but I can see potential.

I thought he was at his best in World Elite.

I prefered Eric Young back when he was the weak clown member of Team Canada as he did some funny stuff back then.
