| How is everyones pre season going? Its not something that gets covered so how are your clubs fairing? Got any tastey new signings who look like they will be good for your club? had any slight hicups (west brom) Our pre season round up is as follows: Two teams played one evening, One winning 4-0 vs quorn, one winning 3-2 vs kidsgrove we then played lancaster away and bashed them 8-1 we then played west brom at home and won 1-0 seems same old crewe to me though, play nice football, create hats of chances but miss alot, then fall apart at the back, although defending a bit better but its pre season so hmm we always bash a few prem teams pre season so who knows what happens. Same old zola too, he was top scorer last season for us yes, but with the amount of chances he gets he could have ran away with league top scorer his conversion rate must be poor but he gets goals, its a weird one. i'd use it as a positive and tell him he is obviously doing alot right because no one in the league gets more chances than him so he must therefore have a great footballing brain etc. please score though zola i like the competition we have for the front 2/3 aswell, players will have to score to play this time round | |

| Obviously first thing is Steve Coppell being new manager
Signed K.Cisse from Reading and Albert Admoah from Barnet
Pre season tour to Sweden:
Drew first game 1-1 i think, next game lost 4-0 (Uefa cup team), then beat some team 11-1 (2nd or third division i think)
lost to Torquay 2-1 last night
Bristol City council have rejected planning permission for the new sanisbury store to be built on the Ashton Gate site which would have funded a third of the amount towards City's new stadium. (Sanisbury wanted to move 1/2 mile down the road or so to get a bigger store, not as if a new superstore was moving in.
released a few guys not needed

| Macc have been doing alright so far, won 6-1 v Leek last weekend and have got Man City coming to the Moss on Saturday so I imagine it'll be a money spinner. Like most seasons it's a pretty new squad but they seem to be settling in okay. | |

| Exeter have beaten Clevedon 3-0, humped Bath (I went) 4-0 and lost to Weston-Super-Mare 2-1 last night.
Got friendlies with AFC Wimbledon, Bristol City and a couple others to look forward to.
We've signed Daniel Nardiello from Blackpool, a guy who always to seems to have scored wherever he's played, so really looking forward to seeing him. We've also got David Noble, who a lot of people rave about for talent, but stamina and actual application are another matter. As well as some keeper from Birmingham reserves, and Billy 'Two Speed: Stop and Dead' Jones from Crewe.
For us, it's a case of keeping the squad together rather than signing loads of players. Swindon are after our amazing captain, QPR were being linked with our keeper Paul Jones and Ryan Harley, ginger midfield maestro is also being linked with a move away. If we can keep those, we'll be okay this season.

| Signed loads of player, most of which I have high hopes for: John Ruddy - Young keeper from Everton, had a great season last time around at Motherwell, built like a brick shit house and seems to be the real deal. Steven Smith- Signed on a free from Rangers, he's got Champions League experiance which can only be a good thing. I expect him to become first choice left back pretty soon. Elliot Ward- Great championship centre back with youth on his side. Really happy with this signing. Adrew Crofts- Really excited about this guy, great potential. David Fox- Great passer, all I know really. Andrew Surman- I orgasmed at this signing. Lost his way a bit in the Prem with Wolves but has the potential to be a great midfielder. Simeon Jackson - Gutted Junior! Can't wait to see him play. The friendlys have gone well, no one really takes notice of them, we've had a win vs Dereham, Kings Lynn, Norwich Utd, a win behind close door vs and un named german side and a nil nil draw with Stevenage. Bring on the Championship tbh. Also incresed our capacity from 26000 to 27000 and have sold more than 20000 season tickets | |

| Definately Ruddy although having Rudd and Ruddy, Smith and Smith, Martin and Martin gets very confusing at Norwich.
Did you have him on loan at some point?

| Sunderland beat Darlington 1-0 at the weekend - Bolo Zenden scoring.
Drew 1-1 with Brighton last night. Fraiser Campbell equalised 6 minutes from time.
Unsure of the starting line ups but I know Darren Bent started against Darlo. Also Ahmed Al Muhamed (sp) can on as a sub and done reletivly well on the right wing.

WE ARE WEST BROM! Ha Ha,I saw we lost to you but didn't think that it would pick up on your radar but obviously not,and don't take anything away from yourselves our former record signing was playing,Luke Moore,League 2 is probably his level.Minor that obvious hiccup we've won our other two games against Kidderminster Harriers and VV Venlo and obviously the pre-season tour was in Holland. Got friendlies coming up against Bristol Rovers,Doncaster,Coventry,Rushden and Diamonds and Osasuna at home before the big kick off at Chelsea away. Positives is that our three long term injured players from last year(Morrison,Miller and Giles Barnes) have got themselves fit and The Big Ish has scored twice already,he didn't play against Crewe though. Released Robert Koren,And others.Signed Tamas and Reid permanently,And Pablo Ibanez former Spain International CB on a free. Had three bids rejected for Lonergan of Preston as a back up to our almighty captain Scotty Carson and looking at every striker under the sun by the sounds of it,including Maynard.
