Anyone signing up? You get one PSN game, two mini games and one psone classic a month. You get a free copy of little big planet for signing up before august 3rd. You get 2 avatars and 2 themes a month. you get free trials of full games and blu rays. And a shit load of other stuff. I might sign up later on tbh because 40 quid doesn't sound too bad.

They've already got the people who bought the console because of free online, now they just make it so that there's hardly any point having the online unless you get the pay service, like Xbox Live Silver and Xbox Live Gold.

That's the whole point, the two major things they had over xbox was the blu-ray and the free online.

Now that a lot of people have the console they can charge, because there is no reason to go get an xbox because it is 1p cheaper, a year of xbox live is £39.99, and a year for PS3 is £40....

It would be more expensive to buy an xbox and buy all new games then to get Playstation Plus, it is a good move by Sony! They're not going to lose any money, only gain it, they have already sold the consoles, they have the money from that already, and people will continue to buy it, because you DON'T have to pay...yet.

well a lot of people i know have switched from ps3 simply cause more of there mates are on xbox so......and xbxo outsold ps3 so....... this is sonys attempt to get some mony and or get more people but if this is the best they could come up with a worse rip off of xbox live well.....rip ps3

Most themes on Xbox Live you have to pay for, but you don't for demos, they come with the £40 you pay for Xbox Live, same with the PS3.

avatars and premium themes are in a different package to the free games when you sign up to it you have to chose package 1 which is the free games or package 2 which is the free avatars and premium themes

Does this apply to the PS Network on PSP? Just wondering as the PSP can download mini games, PSone Classics and other stuff.

its just PS3 you have to download the psp games on your PS3 then connect your PSP to the ps3 and synch it onto it

tell you what i need more than anything. A free 40 pound picture. As i say, let idiots enjoy their fad.

thats the crap package if i was getting it i would chose the free games but you dont even get to chose what the free games are they put a selected games in there which are the shit ones

So does it not apply to using other methods as you can download Media Go from the Playstation site and download PSP games from the PC without using PS3 (also PSP GO downloads directly onto it)?
