So who do you support now?

England are out.
But the World Cup continues, and howver disappointing the result from today was there are still some cracking games of football to look forward to.
So the important question is.
WHo should we put our support behind?

I was born in the mid 70's so I've always been a fan of the Dutch team and although during the past 20 years they've been a team that's failed to deliver and often has had split camps within the squad they look at last to be united and have purpose. So for me I'll be cheering on the orange.

as daft as this may sound, i want the germans to go and win it now,i like the fact there seem to be a team that have no big time charlies in there team and actually work together as a team.

chile and germany. Play the best football i think. Chile backed from the start, great talent, crazy gung ho attitude, why play football if you aint trying to score. And fernandez is a legend. Germany backed to win the whole thing anyway, inexperience is oh so costly hey... Uruguay hardly an under dog, they have had it easy and will i dont doubt have a very good chance of being in the final.

Brazil because i've got money on them and because I did it before the World Cup started and took the price, they were 8-1 and also as a special offer at the time I get money back if they get to the final too (It comes under Each Way rules there, so i'll get less if they lose in the final).

I rarely rarely bet but I wish I'd backed what I was spouting prior to the World Cup.

I'd got France going out in the group stage.
I'd got N.Korea conceding most goals (quite an easy one there!)
I'd got Higuain being top scorer (currently on 4 goals)
I'd got Holland reaching the Final (slightly tricky tie with Brazil in Qtrs though!)

Only others were that I had England to reach semis (not blind patriotism but based more on that they should have finished top of group and then faced the best of uruguay, Mexico, South Korea, Ghana etc enroute, on reflection them lot would have whupped us too)
Also had Nigeria getting the furthest of African countries and that didn't happen.

Chile because they play the best football and I've got two of their players in my dream team,including one who plays for us.

And Uruguay because I have Suarez in my dream team as well!

They beat them in qualifying so they've got a chance,I seriously think that they will run them close tonight,Like you say if they work around the DM's then that will give the likes of Sanchez etc to get a run at the centre of defence,who aren't the quickest.

they lost twice to them in quali i think lol. 4-2 and something. They beat argentina though. The main playmaker is back in the side though and he will find space, just concerned he has not gambled with runs in the box, just stands on edge of area. Or walks in lol. I like how the team blends though, isla has been epic from right back/cm/right mid/wherever the fuck

I think Chile could definetly give Brazil a game, they need to go in not scared of Brazil's players which I think they will do, and if they keep on attacking I think it will suprise Brazil a bit, who are used to teams sitting back.

Fear seems to play a big part in some of the games, in Argentina-Nigeria game, the Nigeria players seemed terrified when Messi got on the ball and just stepped back for him.

Chile need to go out there with the belief that they can win, and I genuinly think they could do.

Brazil will love nothing more than Chile attacking them, they'll get torn to pieces if they do.

and the tournament will be all the better for this fixture. I predict a comfortable brazil win, but chile will out pass for some of the game, no real goalscorer though as humberto is off form i'd say

I'm hoping we get a good game though, not bothered who wins, just want to see a game with lots of goals which isn't one-sided.
