| The ending of last nights raw was with the NXT season 1 Rookies coming down and attacking everyone in sight. It began with Wade Barrett appearing on the ramp during the main event of John Cena vs. CM Punk. Then all other 7 season 1 Rookies appeared all around the arena and surrounded the ring. they were all wearing black armbands with a yellow "N" on them.
All the Rookies began to beat up the S.E.S, John Cena, the WWE announcers and crew members at ringside they also destroyed the ring and the announcer's table and everything around the ring.
i think this was one of the best endings i've seen on Raw in a while and i heard that all the fans were buzzing from this i hope the WWE keep this up and dont let this angle drop as it could turn really good.
What did everyone else think of the ending ?

| i loved the ending, one thing i thought they missed a bit on was however Daniel Bryan beating up Michael Cole a bit, or if they have something planned Bryan trying to get hold of Cole or something. Dunno if anyone else noticed that Cole was no where to be seen when the beat down took place?
Wanted Bryan to put Cena in a full on submission move.
Loved how when the crowd started chanting 'you can't wrestle' Cena started attempting to do wrestling moves

Typical WWE Just what I was about to say (although I missed the first 50 minutes of it due to the TV guide saying NXT at 1am which caused the V+ to tape Raw at the time it's usually on). Seriously it was the best thing i've seen on wrestling for ages and they could be the new nWo, just chuck in a few spray cans and it's perfect, lol!! BTW I reckon Generation NeXT would be a great name for this stable.

| Sounds like an interesting end to the show, shame I stopped watching the show about half way through and missed it.
One thing though, where do they go with this? They've made a statement, but if you put them up against the main event guys that they interrupted then either the NXT guys get beat, killing their momentum, or if you have them go over a couple of those main event guys it doesn't really seem believable.

| I've just had an idea. Maybe the NXT Rookies attacking Cena at the end were ordered by Vince McMahon. To battle Bret Hart being the RAW GM. | |

Maybe Teddy Long is turning heel after becoming fed up of the way he is treated. Teddy Long is behind the NXT attack leading to Vince and Bret bizarrely working together to find a team that can put a stop to NXT (perhaps some of the younger WWE Pros, the likes of Miz, Sheamus, Ziggler, Bourne, DiBiase etc led by the "Chosen One" Drew McIntyre?). A match between the two teams happening at Bragging Rights? I'm liking what is happening in WWE at the moment, too bad I haven't properly followed it since Mania.

Would have to be a bit of a swerve on his attitude on Bryan though.....unless they have him say something like he started believing in Bryan after he pinned The Miz. Over the next few weeks Bryan pins more wrestlers making Cole support him, or that he's supporting him as he is acting as part of the NXT invasion. Barrett/Gabriel/Bryan/Otunga/Slater vs DiBiase/Rhodes/Sheamus/Ziggler/McIntyre or something similar

| having said that you could turn the whole bragging rights PPV into NXT vs WWE Pro's, by which time season 2 has finished.
Ted DiBiase vs Joe Hennig (Brett DiBiase interferes) Kaval vs Rey Mysterio Alex Riley vs Sheamus Justin Gabriel vs Kofi Kingston (IC) NXT vs Pro's 5vs5 Daniel Bryan vs Jack Swagger (WHC) Wade Barrett vs Triple H (WWE)

| Same as everyone else, really. Thought the actual show sucked, managed to avoid all spoilers for what happened (although I clocked this thread earlier and was expecting something - I just thought it'd be CM Punk unmasked or the mystery dude being revealed...).
I think Fergie's right with the Undertaker thing, but I really, really hope WWE followthrough on this and don't just have Cena win an 8 on 1 handicap match.
Incidentally, last week's raw was assumed to be the start of Evan Bourne's push... that lasted long, didn't it? Not getting chosen ahead of long-time jobber Kane, and then some shite promo.
Going to be interesting what happens with the NXT guys - maybe they're going to redo the Invasion thing properly?

That was exactly what I was thinking would happen as I watched it earlier. It would just be your typical Cena angle really. I seen people comparing the angle to the birth of the nWo. Now while this was pretty good, I think those comparisons are just a little over the top. Still be interesting to see exactly where it goes, I'm assuming there'll be some follow up on NXT tonight.

| Evan Bourne is still meant to be getting a big push as WWE want to get a small guy over on RAW as they've finally realised that the smaller fellas get over with the kids. | |

| It's off the rumour sites where I heard so take it with a pinch of salt:
Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Evan Bourne is reportedly in line for a 'serious' push. Bourne's push came partly because John Cena personally went to Vince McMahon and basically told him that the company was dropping the ball by not pushing Bourne.
Another part of the reason was that with Daniel Bryan and Kaval coming up to the main roster, WWE wants to condition fans to accept a small guy as a main eventer.
The company's mentality is that the best people entering the wrestling industry are generally of the smaller variety and they have to establish that small-sized wrestlers can headline or else face major depth issues in the future.
