| Sven is a good manager. Very under-rated but I don't think the Liverpool fans would like him. | |

That's what I meant, I don't think the Liverpool fans would like it. I thought Sven was doing an OK job at City till he was replaced with Hughes.

| He did a mint job on a tiny (relatively anyway) budget. Plus he's still the best England manager we've had for a long time. Knocked out by Brazil (check their team for that match ) then two penna losses. Capello hasn't done shit yet, when we get knocked out not many papers are gonna keep calling him "Mr.Capello" | |

Brazil
Marcos No chance with Owen's goal. Poor positioning - belongs to a long line of mediocre Brazilian goalkeepers.
Cafu The skipper tore forward as always, linking well with his forward players. Made life difficult for Ashley Cole.
Lucio His howler let Owen through for his goal. But quickly regained his composure and was solid in the second half.
Roque Junior Ponderous defending by the flat-footed Brazilian. But he held firm as England launched long balls late on.
Edmilson Looked great bringing the ball out of defence. But given a torrid time defensively by Heskey.
Roberto Carlos Wayward from free-kicks and not at his best going forward. But still a menace who had to be watched.
Gilberto Silva Had little impact on the game, leaving the attacking play to his illustrious peers.
Kleberson Added some steel to midfield but offered little going forward. Thunderous first-half drive blocked by Campbell.
Rivaldo Magnificently composed left-footed equaliser. Saw a lot of the ball, always asking questions of England's defence.
Ronaldinho Scored a sublime free-kick - if it was deliberate. Effortlessly set up Rivaldo's goal then unluckily sent-off.
Ronaldo Had a quiet game by his standards. Restricted to sporadic flashes of brilliance. Forced a save from Seaman after 19 minutes. Look at that team!

| Ya should see his rating, got an 8. Here's England's.... - Quote :
- David Seaman
Must take the blame for Brazil's second goal. Nervous start, flapping at a corner. A sad end to his international career.
Danny Mills Advanced forward more than opposite number Roberto Carlos. Crucial first-half clearance with Ronaldo lurking.
Rio Ferdinand Alert, commanding, magnificent. Took no chances and did little wrong in the heart of England's defence.
Sol Campbell Like Ferdinand, quick to read the play and superb marshalling the back four. Timed his tackles excellently.
Ashley Cole Questionable positional play defensively. But made several surging runs forward.
David Beckham Few opportunities to showcase his dead-ball skills. Linked play effectively and helped Mills handle Roberto Carlos.
Nicky Butt Solid defensive shield. But - unlike in previous matches - made few telling passes going forward.
Paul Scholes Made little impact. Passing was unusually poor and he seemed hesitant with several shooting opportunities.
Trevor Sinclair Tried to keep Cafu busy and unselfishly dropped back when Cole pushed forward.
Michael Owen The true predator. Scored his first opportunity with clinical precision. But had few sights of goal after that.
Emile Heskey Caused real problems. Worked tirelessly to hold the ball and create space. Worried the Brazilians with pace and power.
Dyer, Vassell and Sheringham came on too. Anyone take this team over the current ones?
