| I was watching an episode of the PWR Show earlier today and each member of the team had difficulty in stating the true heel of TNA Wrestling: Some of the people mentioned were: AJ styles Ric Flair Hulk Hogan??????? Sting Mr Anderson I was just curious who everybody on here thought the true heel of TNA was. Edit: I love PWR they mentioned my JBL GM email on their show

| I don't think they have a fecking clue most of the time. Noticed how the Dudleys have once again changed from face to heel. How many times is that now for them in the past 3 years?
Anderson promoing his socks off as a heel and probably in the form of his life, quick lets give him a face turn, noooooo you idiots!
Sting could'nt do a proper heel turn even if leapt into the crowd and shat on a paraplegic kid.
AJ Styles move set and entire persona just screams babyface yet they lump him together with Flair.

| Well PWR basically came to same conclusion as you Maccs. There is no true heel which they seriously need to sort out. | |

| Give it a couple of months and Angle will be the big heel again, Angle/Anderson was epic, I'm fully expecting them to redo it again this time with the roles reversed | |

| Of anyone in TNA he pulls off a dominant heel fantastically. I don't though see him going up against Anderson again (with roles reversed). I see a three way tussle for the title with RVD and Jeff Hardy (barring jail term). | |

| kennedy . He is simply must watch at present day! And now a face turn and even worse maybe heel jeff hardy (doubt it mind). So if kennedy is diabolicaly out of the equation then i guess matt morgan and as much as im liking him at the moment it's barbaric that a tough enough loser and now titleless could be your best heel .good topic though | |

| There is no-one at the minute the true heel in TNA butI think given time and the opportunity, Eric Young could be that guy.
He's a TNA original and thought he worked he role in the World Elite last Year was really good. Working with Hall and Nash could help him also. So the potential is there but will it be given time?

| What bugs me most is that the team is there that pulled off the greatest heel turn in wrestling history (Hogan at Bash at the Beach) yet they can't build up a single heel between them.
I wonder if half the problem with TNA heels is that the product is aimed at the 'smark' generation, as soon as a heel shows potential he instead gets cheered rather than booed and instantly TNA creative switch them over to face. WWE's PG policy for once though gives the wrestlers more opportunity for clearly defined roles of heel and face as the fans are still oblivious to the real world of wrestling and treat it in a pantomine fashion.

| TNA has always had a problem with defining who's a heel and who's a face, so this is nothing new, but the thing with TNA is that the fans will cheer whoever they want regardless and thats why you get chants like "lets go AJ, lets go go" as the fans even take it in turns to chant. I also agree with Maccs smark generation comment and for an example, I'm not going to boo AJ Styles because Hulk Hogan wants me too and Hulk at the start of his TNA run wanted everyone to boo Jeff Jarett because he still holds a grudge against him from the incident on WCW, but the fans saw through that. That being said i'm glad that they have not defined face and heel roles as they tried to ban signs that support heels and slate the faces and make it so people booing faces would be removed from the areana (because the audience are part of the cast trying to tell a story apparently) which would put alot of people off as TNA is all about the "lets go Angle, lets go Wolfe" turnbased chants and that ECW style crowd freedom. | |

| It should be Desmond Wolfe. Except they would rather use him to job in the most shocking way possible to Abyss. | |

| If I am honest when crunch comes to crunch with Desmond Wolfe, he can play a superb heel but can we actually say he has ever won a rivalry. I would concede that he got alot out of the Angle rivalry, but with the likes of the Pope and especially Abyss then you could say that he jobbed to them, especially Abyss as the Pope rivalry didnt really get going.
For me it would have been Anderson but his face turn cancells that. So I would agree and say Morgan is a top heel at the moment, and in a few months (hopefully) Angle will be there too.

| Although there are a few people who could be called the true heel, all of whom have already been mentioned, I'd say Angle. He is good on the mic, can pull off the psychotic role well and has a legitmate reason to claim he is the best.
And even though I haven't seen much of Anderson in TNA, I would have kept him as a heel for a while yet. He seems to be popular with the smarks so leave them wanting him to turn, so when he does turn, it means something (if that makes sense). It's kind of like the situation with Edge, we wanted to see him as a face but we had to wait a long time, whether he was successful is up to you.
