Smackdown this week - contains Spoilers!!!!!!!

So Drew McIntyre was suspended, stripped of IC title and then fired this week on Smackdown by Teddy Long. The reason for this was for beating down Matt Hardy and refusing to stop. Is it a part of a storyline or has he really been fired.

I personnally think that he has been suspended for 30 days and will come back saying that Mr Mcmahon has over-ruled Teddy Long's decision.

What do you guys think of this. Perhaps people have heard somthing about it?

Nah, I think it's part of a story. I did think this was a way of releasing him without the standard future endeavoured message on wwe.com, but it seems a bit far-fetched that they would go to all that effort.

I now think it is just a way for him to go to RAW which is silly considering the Draft was not even 2 weeks ago.

Raw or slight injury i reckon itll be known within a few days though

Could be a wellness violation but I'd like to think they wouldn't write him out for 30 days with an angle that attempts to put him over.

I reckon it's all part of 2 things

Either he gets re-instated and feuds with Christian for the title, or a way of building a match for the fatal 4-way PPV: Kofi vs Christian vs Drew vs Matt.

Drew just got married last week, I think he might be going on honeymoon which is probably the reason he has been 'fired'

It's to let him go on honeymoon or to let him step up without losing yet (in the WWE eye's anyway)

1 - moving drew to raw, but dont see it being that

2 - a new SD gm, teddy i think has just been meh for a while, and id wouldnt be surprised if hes replaced

I thought that Vince had said that the Mr McMahon character was finished for good after WM. Now I realise that this is Vince we're talking about but would he really bring the Mr McMahon character back mere weeks after his supposed 'final apperance'?

Actually thinking about it: yes, yes he would do that. And he is already linked with Drew so it would make sense.

I think Drew will get the title back by Mr Mcmahon as part of this "untouchable" storyline where he thinks he can get away with anything because of the boss...

I was thinking about McMahon, but then remembered that he isn't a character anymore, supposedly. I should hope Vince doesn't change that so soon.

I think Drew will turn up on Raw, I guess it makes most sense, they might wanted to have made more of a story of it then just using the draft.

Anyone cared to explain why the Hart Dynasty haven't been sacked yet?

i was hoping Drew would stay away for a while and come back in a few months with a personality and a more-than-generic gimmick. At least the stripping of the IC title was good thing, that title means less than shite any more so hopefully now its getting some spotlight and either Christian of Kofi can do something with it. Big Show did alright playing the good guy but why did they do that bullshit freezeframe when show slammed swagger through the table?
