- Joey Mercury (Matthews) made his WWE return tonight in the dark match before the NXT and SmackDown tapings in Uncasville, CT. Mercury lost to Shelton Benjamin.

Mercury was re-signed by WWE at the end of 2009. He is expected to appear on SmackDown soon.


i wonder if there is any plans still for him to join the ses because they need new members.how can it be a society with gallows and serena

Either teaming him with JO Mo or joining SES would be good for him imo.

I would prefer the MNM team to reunite and the heel turn from Morrison, where Mercury approaches him and asks him to reform MNM but Jo Mo says he's loyal to R Truth and eventually Jo Mo turns heel by siding him with Mercury
