| I hate to break it to you die hard pro wrestling fans (not really) but pro wrestling is totally staged. The main focus of pro wrestling is to make money and entertain while other types of wrestling focuses on the athletic competition between the two competitors. Being a former wrestler in high school, I think it's a depressing to see these "professional wrestlers" put such a horrible face to a noble sport. They aren't "professional" and they certainly aren't "wrestlers". They are a bunch of idiots that put on some redneck soap opera for the entertainment of people who have no respect for the real sport of wrestling.

| The thread poster reminds me of the coach in that wrestling episode of South Park (it's called WTF and see here for more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W.T.F. )
In the episode the South Park kids watch WWE and the next day they go to school and join the wrestling team, only to discover it's diffrent (They think it's gay and the coach is a pedo), so when the coach discovers that the kids have been watching WWE the coach sets out to kill Vince Mcmahon because "WWE is not real Wrastlin" and in the end he misses (yes... kenny gets killed again) and he gets the job with WWE after explaining why he tried to kill Vince (because WWE is killing off the real Wrastling scene and as a result "WWE took his job" because the school princible sacked him after seeing him teaching a wrestling hold to a student).
Like Sexton though a WUM is still a WUM and whilst alot of people share his views about WWE and it's kind tarnishing the good name of catcha's catch can, roman greco, amature, freestyle, mat wrestling (especially the anti-Lashley and Lesnar MMA fans), coming onto a forum that has WWE and TNA in the title to post this thread is just plain trouble causing.
BTW Mr Gay Pakistan (or can I just call you Mr Gay), are you by any chance a member of the nTo on WWE's facebook page because I recognise that Graham Norton klique avatar you have.

Thank god it wasn't someone from the nTo as you only need to look at the discussion section of UFC's Facebook page to see the damage they can do.

| Wrestling is first and foremost a sport. They have winners and losers, championships, and rivalrys. The wrestlers bleed and sweat when they perform. This is not any different from any other sport, except for the fact that you don't have to catch a ball of some type. In my opinion, they work as hard if not harder than any other performers in any sport. I mean, once a "popular" sport's season ends, it's over til the next season, where as wrestlers go every week. And my final reason, when televised, the superstars are commonly referred to as athletes, which is a term used in every sport. | |
