| Not actually seen the show, but apparently the main event is Brian Danielson facing Chris Jericho.
Not a bad way to debut in the WWE!

| I mentioned it in another thread but no-one picked up on it but I'm wondering how this show will pan out. With it being mentor and apprentice then there will have to be a succession of other guys to take over roles within it to keep it fresh and how long will that format be able to carry on in that style? FCW will have to be churning through newbies at a faster rate than ever and a lot will be pushed elsewhere simply because they've been pulled through too quickly. | |

| I don't think it's a ''weekly episodic'' programme like Raw and Smackdown, I think it's more in the vain of a 10 week season or something like that.
On the subject of NXT, Which I have just watched most of....
Danielson is short, man, like can't ignore it short. really stood out.
Punk owned again, he was was awesome.

| So what will they show once it's come to a finish?
I thought Danielson was 5ft 10in which is the same height as Kurt Angle & Chris Jericho?
Punk is by far THE best thing in WWE at present, no question.

| I was going to pan this show before I had even watched it, I've watched it, Bryan Danielson, or Danial Bryan (as I should get used to start calling him) was the star of the show, he had the most TV time and The Miz is going to be brilliant for him, Miz was just being The Miz, he is setting himself up for an ass kicking from Bryan so he deserves kudos for this.
Bryan also said he wished William Regal was his mentor, not the best thing to say if your trying to get over as a face, but he does seem comfortable enough on the mic, he just talks openly, Miz told him to get a catchphrase to which he replied "Tap or Snap" which I think could be quite catchy if Bryan is allowed to use multiple submissions
The match with Jericho was alright, apparantly Jericho offered him it since he loves watching Danielson matches, if you watch it then check out the Lion Tamer, awesome

| Just watched the match via YouTube and was impressed myself. As always Jericho goes out of his way to help Danielson get over with the crowd. Height wise he looked about an inch shorter than Jericho when they stood toe to toe at the beginning. | |

| Marty is spot on though, at the start of the show Bryan looked tiny compared to the rest, you can kinda see where Miz is coming from as well when he said he looks like an accountant | |

| The Main Event was great that suicide dive Jericho countered looked brutal. Nice to see a lion tamer that intense.
Miz/bryan looks like a nice fued brewing there and I can see Punk's rookie loseing until he joins the SES.
Also micheal cole got on my nerve's with his who is Brayn Daniel crap.

| Just watched the Bryan vs Jericho match on youtube there. Was actually very impressed with what the show seems to be like in general. Jericho as always was brilliant right at the start just making his presence felt. And also a number of times throughout the match Jericho helped Bryan get over with the crowd like mentioned above.
The actual match was really high quality and I really enjoyed it, especially the Suicide Dive counter onto the Announce Table, looked painful as hell. Don't like Michael Cole, he really pissed me off, and he has been more than usual lately, I think Matt Striker is a great commentator compared to Cole, and i'd rather Striker be paired with someone else on Nxt instead of Cole. Would be awesome if they got Jbl to do it.
As for the relationships with the Pros. I think they look pretty solid. I loved how Jericho made Wade look so insignificant compared to him with his words, and the way he acted when he was introducing him. And the beatdown by the Miz at the end was brilliant, just making Bryan know who the pro is, that relationship is definately something to watch, might be too soon but i'd love a Us Title Match at Wrestlemania with them two, with the Miz winning cleanly to get over how he is the Pro and better etc.

| Definatly some interesting match ups, Punk and Young has potential if played the right way, Otunga looks like a fantastic prospect and Bryan (eugh) looks great, better on the mic than I imagined he would be and obviously talented in the ring.
Micheal Cole is apparently taking up an anti-'smark' gimmick, where he bashes fans that discuss wrestling on the internet and read wrestling dirt sheets. I found him very annoying, they don't need to over complicate Cole, who I feel sometimes struggles anyway, with a gimmick that he only seemed to adapt to when discussing Bryan.

| I was really enjoying Michael Cole last night I wonder if they are setting up for a JR return so are getting Cole settled into his new role on NXT
I liked his 'anti-smark' rants last night, I can actually see those points, no one is questioning how good a wrestler Daniel Bryan is, if it was just about that then he would be near the top of the pile, its more than that though.
One thing I am delighted about though is that it seems that the Pro's will remain in character despite it being a 'reality' based show

| A genuine competition would surely mean the "mentors" have to break character, bit stupid having Jericho call you a wanker all the time if it's for real.
But if it isn't seems a bit pointless, considering 7 of them already know they've "lost".
A combination of the two sounds plain old creepy.

| not necceserily, if they shine in the show then they still may get the call but just not be the winner of the show, Jericho reckons Danielson and the one he's mentoring will both be on a WWE roster at the end, Twitter account said so. | |

| Yeah I read the thing with Jericho on his Twitter. It's weird how it's going to work, it'd seem like they'll all get their chance to perfrom well and then see what happens from there, Danielson definately brought on a performance last show anyway, that's for sure. Haven't seen the rest of it though, looking forward to watching it actually. A lot better than i thought it was going to be. | |

| I'm gonna give this show a few more weeks before I judge it properly but I kind of liked it. That's most probably because it just seemed like a whole show dedicated to getting Danielson over. Again Jericho showed why he is not only "the best in the world at what he does", he's also "about the bizz". he had me half thinking he was about to tap out to Danielson. Miz again was brilliant. I even kinda like Cole's "anti-smark" commentating, although if they are having him as the "mentor" type thing, and Matthews as the "rookie" then sorry Josh, you lose. I'm gonna make a prediction that Punks rookie will keep losing until he accepts the straight edge lifestyle, then will suddenly start winning. They need to lose the forced fake reality bullshit though. | |

| Vince McMahon was reportedly pleased with Daniel Bryan's performance on last night's premiere episode of WWE NXT as he felt they made him "a star" in one night as a result of his interaction with The Miz and match with Chris Jericho. | |

| It's an interesting show. Tarver looks like he has promise.
Obviously Danielson is already up there but his mic work really suprised me. I do think he needs a change of image, perhaps some facial hair and some new ring attire. I suppose that makes him who he is though.
I'm struggling to work out how someone will 'win' the show?

| I think Danielson's mic work has been very overlooked, many people have just assumed he can't talk, he will never be 'must listen too' but he is coherent enough to get his point across and can become intense as well, link that to his actual ability and it comes over as very believable | |
