NXT Roster Revealed

As reported earlier, the new WWE NXT show will feature wrestlers from Florida Championship Wrestling, who will be paired off with WWE veterans in their quest to make it to the main roster.

Here's a look at the nine wrestlers who are expected to be part of WWE NXT: Season 1, which debuts next Tuesday night on Syfy:

- Justin Angel (FCW Champion)
- Daniel Bryan (formerly Bryan Danielson)
- Kaval (formerly Low Ki)
- Skip Sheffield
- Joe Hennig (son of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig)
- Brett Dibiase (son of the Million Dollar man, brother of Ted Jr.)
- Darren Young
- Heath Slater
- Michael Tarver

Some interesting names, quite surprised there isn't a Diva being called up, definatly going to give this a look.

I have never seen any FCW or have I heard much of it to be honest so looking forward to it.

According to wikipedia, it's not legends its current superstars from Raw or Smackdown.

WWE NXT will pair up eight wrestlers from WWE's existing Raw and SmackDown brands (dubbed as "Pros") with talent from WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (dubbed as "Rookies"). Each episode will feature the Rookies being mentored by the Pros as they develop their characters, as well as their microphone and performance skills in front of a live audience. The pairings will also enable the show to crossover into WWE's Raw and SmackDown programs.[2][6]
Due to WWE's nature of airing weekly shows without hiatus, the current plan for NXT will be to split the year's set of episodes into two or three seasons. NXT will be the second reality series produced by WWE, the first being WWE Tough Enough which aired between 2001 and 2004. Unlike the competitive format seen in Tough Enough where contestants compete for a contract with WWE, NXT will instead see each of the Rookies graduating to one of WWE's brands at the end of the season.[2]

danielson gets the miz...........

would have loved danielson to be paired with jericho

sounds like a load of crap to me,Bryan Danielson,One of if not THE best in the world and they're going to turn him into a reality TV Star?Really?And pairing him with The Miz,I'm sorry but that's crap,How do you think Danielson will feel having a mentor who he could out-wrestle anyday of the week...Might be good for The Miz to learn a few things though.

At least they have some good Pro's on it, I heard Christian was going to be stuck in a mentor role and thought he would be totally fucked, but learning Jericho, CM Punk and The Miz was going to be on it makes it sweeter

I actually think they will play up on that Danielson knows more than the Miz and he'll turn face after a few weeks of having to put up with the Miz's comment on how to do things.

The Miz could be good for Danielson though if you think about it, Miz is one of the most over guys on the roster and he is heel, the fans are well into him and all his promos, being linked with The Miz might be a good thing, Danielson's wrestling ability will get him over but having The Miz as a guy and someone everyone wants to see beaten up will get him even more noticed

i suppose but i would have just loved Jericho to be with Danielson

i have never seen any ROh stuff, so know next to nothing about danielson, is heany good on the mic? if they are going to go for a full blown reality type show, then the miz could help danielson with promo's and general mic work.

why put him with someone like jericho, when he has the wrestling part down and there are others there that would need more of jericho's all round 'coaching'

just because it also says that the learners will also appear on Smackdown and Raw, so you would presume that they would be in tag teams hence why i would have loved Jericho and Danielson to be a pair
