| 6 months ago you wouldn't have ever seen me write this article, hell even 3 months ago you wouldnt have seen me write this article.
But I think Batista has done very well since the heel turn. It was no secret he was a boring face ( Boretista ) he was boring on the microphone, lacked a lot of charisma and his selling left a lot to be desired,
However as we approach wrestlemania 26 and the imminent match ( I think anyway!!) of Batista vs John Cena Number 2, I will be solidly be behind Batista.
Batista is an animal there is no getting away from that fact, he looks like a roid monster and should've never been portrayed as a face but as of late I enjoyed his feud with Rey at Survivor Series, constantly Powerbombing him not even looking for the pin, just to gain revenge on one of the biggest baby faces in WWE history. Then at TLC he was " robbed " out of the WHC by Teddy Long and then lost a Number 1 contender steel cage to Rey Mysterio to fight at the RR. All this has led to Batista being on a path of destruction which seems to intertwine with the interesting Bret Hart return angle, which also led to attacking Cena after the bell.
Now as this develops I am getting interested in the Batista character for the first time in my life. Is it just my traditional love of the heel? or are other people begining to see a vast improvement in him? | |
