| World Wrestling Entertainment released former ECW performer Steve Lewington (a.k.a. DJ Gabriel) yesterday.
Lewington was split from Alicia Fox last April as a result of the 2009 Supplemental Draft, leaving the English grappler to fend for himself. Creative apparently had nothing for him considering he was soon shipped off to developmental. He never returned to the main roster.
Lewington had been under contract to WWE since April 2006.
There may have a few other releases in developmental yesterday, but they have yet to be confirmed. | |
