| I can never think of a time when Rey used underhanded tactics or actually cheated but I watched a match where he slapped his opponent in the face and the thought came to me. He has always been a face as far as I know. I know people would still cheer for him but I think he could make an entertaining heel, changing his entrance and completely ignoring the people with his mask merch. Maybe have what Batista did to him change him into a out for number one kind of guy and maybe have him use some of Eddie's old tactics | |

| because he's so over with the kids and isnt strong enough on the mic 2 pull it off like Cena could. Plus living behind the mask would make it harder for him because thats what family friendly Rey is associated with. | |

| Ahh, but you could spin the kid friendliness on it's head, it's the best way of becoming a heel!
It's true he's shit on the mic, but I think he's could enough to come across as a proper sneaky little bugger.
The biggest hurdle I see is his moveset. His jumps and flips are all face moves, just pure entertainment really so that would need to be modified. But again it could work for him if he becomes a coward and refuses to do them things.
I definitely reckon with a bit of thought Rey could be an effective heel.

| I would have loved to have seen Rey take a heel turn, I thought I could see it coming last year when Kane started going mental and had his mask, I thought Kane was going to do his pyro near the end of the Championship Scramble match and when it went off it would have been a trigger that turned Rey heel and somehow cost Batista the chance to win the World Title.
Obviously it didn't play out anything like that

| Mini Hispanic Kane! Honestly though, one reason I've really liked him (apart from disliking smaller ones on general...) is that he never seemed "nice". I always saw him as the little bastard in the corner calling people "greeeeengooo's" and picking a fight Mind you, it didn't really work with the Filthy Animals, but WCW was a bit fecked up in general then. | |

| Yeah he is more like a scrappy doo kinda character, little dude who takes no bullshit and will do anything he can to win, he is one little guy who has been booked really well in the E despite his poor run as the World Champion | |

| He could be what I call the Face Heel, where someone acts like a heel but screws other heels so is still a face, like Eddie or Austin etc. | |

| yh thats the 1
problem is he's so small and Vince likes big guys being the heel so Cena can be superman.

| I think there is such a lack of tweeners now that whoever did become one would need to be absolutely epic, Orton for me is the only true standout potential tweener, DX could be too but I don't think they would do that | |

| Orton could do anything he wanted but he never gets the backing to go whole hog in a storyline. I thought Orton v McMahons was great but they just killed it off into a meaningless title feud at Mania, instead of it being an all out family, personal feud, Orton and Steph was great tv earlier this year. | |

| I don't disco, I think what made Eddie great was his charisma. its natural, thats something Rey doesn't have, he needs to really work the crowd for a response, Eddie never needed that, all he had to do was his little shuffle or his cheeky grin which would be highlighted by a million percent on the tron and the crowd knew he was about to get up to something sneaky but hilarious | |

I loved that feud, even thought it was excellent with Triple H, I love feuds that mix real life into them, it helps add the realism in it for me, I thought it was excellent, and even the match at Mania started brilliant, hitting their finishers very early was a nice change, what that match needed though was all out war, it had to be a no holds barred match, it needed a vile heel turn from someone, anyone, Stephanie would have been great, but Shane would have made more sense, it had to be bloody, brutal and mesmorising, it was none of thse, to be fair it was never going to out shine HBK/Taker, but as a main event, it at least had to try

I would love to see Orton take out the entire roster of one show (or at least everyone except the champ of that show.) For me, SmackDown would be the ideal candidate. After watching the Bash yesterday and with Mr McMahon urging Teddy to "shake things up", Teddy could screw Orton the chance to face Sheamus by sending Batista over who would receive a match of his own against Taker as a reward. This would push Orton over even his own vile edge considering this was his first opportunity to receive a title shot as if you remember, after the Ironman match, he could no longer compete for the title as long as Cena was champion. Orton then goes to SmackDown, calls out Teddy who emerges with most of the roster. Orton then says unlike Teddy, he isn't a coward (Orton would be without the rest of Legacy). Orton then goes into a rage and ends the show standing in the middle of the ring with absolute carnage around him. Mr McMahon then puts Orton in difficult matches as what he claims is a "punishment" for Orton's actions on SmackDown. This would then lead into a similar conspiracy angle against Orton that you said would be a good idea for Taker (in another thread).

| Rey as a heel could work I can see two ways to it first, Rey joining Legacy he is 2nd generation so it's plausible and have him move into a second in command type of role and have him be the person who is in charge of Priceless or Have him lose his mask, he then claims that the fans have no respect for tradition and none of them know how much his mask meant and if it wasn't for them he would have never lost, they're a distraction, he's sick of seeing all the stupid kids wearing lucha masks without knowing the history behind them and he will teach the wwe roster and the fans to respect Lucha Libre tradition. | |
