| This is just a thread to see if anyone has ever been so positive that one participant in a wrestling match would win, only for the other(s) to win
For Me
Mania 24 - WWE Title Match. HHH vs Cena vs Orton - Orton winner I was so sure Cena was going to win this, and HHH was my 2nd coice even though I wanted Randy to win
JBL vs Undertaker No Mercy 2004 - Winner JBL Last ride match
Edge vs Cena Summerslam 2006 in Boston winner -Edge
Edge vs Cena TLC Toronto Unforgiven 2006 winner - Cena
ONS 2008 Undertaker vs Edge TLC Winner - Edge
I'll think of some more soon. Anybody else got any?

| The only one that springs to mind at the moment is Shawn Michaels beating The British Bulldog for the European Title at One Night Only in 1997. For a start Shawn didn't need the title (indeed he barely defended it after winning it) and secondly the match took place in the UK and the Bulldog always won on his home turf. Or he did up to then. | |

I was about 10 years old when that happened and thought wrestling was still real, remember being really upset when Bulldog lost that one
