| I mentioned on the Sid going to TNA thread that I never really rated him, even though I've discussed and debated with people who think he's great.
Anyone else never see what the appeal is to a certain wrestler?
Another I'd add to the list would be Bret Hart, I always thought he was massively over-rated.

| Sid I can understand, but Bret Hart? Really? He's somebody who would be in my top 5 greatest wrestlers of all time.
For me, the one that stands out the most is The Rock. Promos were too comedic based, not enough serious shit, and in the ring I felt he was fairly average, with a lot of his moves not looking realistic enough for me.

| Agreed on Sid.
Another one for me was Kevin Nash, I've just never got him, always found him average an nothing more. He's just a guy who made a shit load of money out of very little talent. NEVER seen one great match from the guy.
Im probably gonna get a shit load of stick for this one but, STING, I've never found anything the guy has done to be interesting, the guy is just plain dull, but unlike Nash he can actually wrestle so......

| Nash is a good called. I've never seen the appeal. Sting would be another until I watched back to his WCW stuff, now I have the utmost respect for him and rate him as one of the best ever.
HHH, I've never got and never been a fan of.

| i have recently been having problems with Homicide, it seems that matches he is in are only good if the other person is really amazing in the match. I enjoyed the Red vs Homicide match but it seemed to only be Red doing the stuff that was note worthy | |

I think most males over the age of about 12 don't understand the appeal of Cena. Around 1996, when he won the WWF Title I used to really like Sid. I didn't much like him before that time and I didn't like him much after. But for a brief period of about 6 months from Survivor Series 96 to WM13 I really liked him. I think it was because, at the time he was different to a lot of other guys on the WWF roster particularly the other main eventers. You could easliy believe that he was a few biscuits short of packet. Plus he smacked Shawn Michaels (who I absolutely detested at the time) with a TV camera to win the title which I thought was great.

| Benoit bored me to fuck, particularly his title run days. In the ring fine but that's only being half a wrestler in my opinion. Not sure if Goldberg counts, think that's just hatred by me but I can easily see his appeal. Naughty one this but The Dudley's passed me by a littler bit too, found them a tad annoying | |

Benoit bored me to death because he seemed to have no personality. Goldberg seems like he'd be a cool guy outside of wrestling but didn't like him in wrestling. And the Dudleys, I think they're very over-rated. Just cannot stand anything they do. Booker T. I cannot understand why anybody liked him at all. The spinarooney was good but apart from that

I've never understood the love he gets, even when he was in his prime in the 80s, I never saw anything he did that really stood out, I felt Piper was a far better promo guy and I think Savage was a better wrestler

| Agree with a few on here, mainly the WCW guys.
Sting, never did it for me, poor rip of the Crow movie
Ric Flair. Never saw him in his earlier years so it's based on an old man walking very slow, getting far too sweaty and wih the reddest chest in the Western World.
Benoit. Ooh he's a technical god, so? He couldnt hold a mic and his ring presence was non existent. Look at me I can do suplexes!
Guerrero, mid carder elevated by dying.
Legion of Doom: They looked like something Games Workshop would sell.
Owen Hart, see Eddie Guerrero
RVD, lazy botch king
Booker T, bigger ego than Haitch

Bret, I've always just found him really, really dull. Very bland on the mic, excellent in-ring, but I just never really got any idea of personality or charisma. Even during the anti-USA gimmick he was doing at the end, I always felt the crowd were booing the gimmick, rather than the man behind it. He's remembered fondly because of Montreal and Owen dying, and I maintain to this day that he was lucky to be a main-eventer when he was. after Vince got nailed for steroids in the early 90's, roided-up monsters like Warrior, Hogan and co disappeared off our screens, in favour of the smaller Michaels and Hart. If Mr. Perfect had been healthy, I'd much rather have seen him at the top of the card, rather than Bret.

| True, his mic skills were fairly average (although I do think he was fantastic in his Anti-USA role, it just seemed to come so naturally to him), so I suppose I can understand it. Personally mic skills aren't really that important to me if they are that good in the ring, which is why I really liked Benoit as well, and love Japanese wrestling despite never understanding a single promo.
I definitely agree that Mr. Perfect was really unlucky with his injuries around that time though, and would have made an excellent World Champ.

| Perfect would've made a great world champ. Just a pity that he was never booked properly. Rey Mysterio is a wrestler I've never gotten properly. I mean having him as world HEAVYWEIGHT champion was just unbelievable.
I may get shot for this but I've never really rated AJ Styles. It's just always seemed like TNA are shoving him down your throat all the time.

| I remember one match when Mysterio was champ on Smackdown, when he faced Gregory Helms, the cruiserweight champ of the time. Brilliantly, he weighed more than the heavyweight champ. | |

I have to agree, Kennedy is probably the one wrestler I've never been able to get. He was dull to watch in the ring (even before he was beset with injuries) and all he had going for him was that he was able to say his name. Very loudly. Twice. The only good thing you can say for him is that he did manage to injure John Cena.

| I wasn't a fan of Kennedy at all, but I was watching a lot f 2006 a few weeks ago and then the 2007 Rumble and thought he was looking really good in that period and by far one of the better guys to watch on SmackDown! | |

| Kennedy when he debuted looked pretty good. His Green Bay Plunge move really made him stand out, and then he switched to the swanton bomb, which didn't look anywhere near as good. he could promo, but even that got irritating pretty quick.
Then he got a face turn, and that virtually killed off all his momentum.

| Another one for me is Jeff Hardy, yeah he jumps of things and I guess that has its place(who don't like a spot monkey now and then?), but as a serious main eventer.....really?
Still, I guess he's better than Matt Hardy and his, "I'm the worlds dullest man" gimmick...........think its a gimmick anyway

| I think Jeff improved big time in the last two years, since his run with Orton leading into the 2008 Rumble his matches became far better, SD has been pretty dull without him | |

| Don't get me wrong I can see why other people like the guy, but he's just someone I've never got or bought into as a top star, can't say I saw much of smackdown while he was their because i stopped watching and Jeff being put in a top spot was one of the MANY reasons why. | |
