| Growing up watching wrestling there were wrestlers we all liked that most other people didn't. You don't know why you liked them but for some reason you did. There were also wrestlers you didn't like and most other people did, again you don't really know why. So I was wondering who they were.
I was always a fan of 'Ravishing' Rick Rude. Back then I didn't really know how good he was - ability wise. To me, he was just the bad guy he was giving Ultimate Warrior a hard time. He was cocky about is aswell. Back then i normally cheered for the good guys but for some reason I always cheered for Rick Rude.
The guy I never liked was The Rock. Don't get me wrong, I think he is great at what he does but I just wasn't a fan. To me, I either liked The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Rock just annoyed me during the attitude era. He grew on me in the early 'naughties' but I still didn't like him. He pretty much said the same thing throughout. Even as Guest Host at Wrestlemania, I found him pretty boring. I marked out when his music hit but I skipped most of his promo's.

| I used to really like Billy Gunn, not really sure why but I wasn't a massive fan of Road Dogg but still liked the New Age Outlaws. I've watched Gunn's ringwork being older and it was nothing special, even his mic work wasn't amazing but I just used to really like him!
Another guy who I liked and remains my alltime favourite wrestler to this day is Chris Jericho, he had it all and only watching WWF as a kid he was just something new and different to everyone else especially with his Lionsault finisher. The great thing about Jericho is as I've aged and become 'wiser' to the business he has evolved and in so many ways you can still appreciate his work.
As for the Rock vs Austin I agree that you could only really like one but I wasn't that fussed on either of them as a kid, I prefered Rock but was always more interested in the Intercontinental belt than the WWF belt. The only match where I was really into between them was WrestleMania 17 and that is one of my alltime favourite matches. I have to admit I didn't really like Austin, he has grown on me alot but he never really did it for me at the time.
No-one understands this one, a wrestler I don't like is........ The Undertaker. I appreciate everything he has done for the industry and respect him but I have never been a fan of him, I can't recall one match or promo that has got me into him.

| As a Mini-Grecian, I used to love Tatanka, during his whole unbeaten run. He was my favourite, along with the Undertaker. I also used to love Shawn Michaels during the Boy Toy run with Sherri, and I remember being so utterly torn at Mania 9 who I wanted to win between HBK and Tatanka. Now, I just can't explain why I liked Tatanka so much, but as a kid...
I loved Shelton Benjamin, and still think he should go back to WWE with a manager. Big, big fan of his.
I always went for Rocky over Austin. It was the promo's that did it for me, just one raised eyebrow, and he controlled the whole arena. Austin was great, but once his run with Vince had finished, I started to find him a bit 'meh'. And his heel turn at Mania 17 just shouldn;t have ever happened.
I never liked Bret Hart, to this day I maintain he's massively over-rated. I've never rated Jericho that highly either, I've lost count of the times he's loudly called a move for the TV viewers to hear. I already know it's all pre-determined, I don't need to be reminded of it!

| I never got the whole deal about Hogan but then again I was only born early 90's so I will have missed him in his prime and he was mainly a heel when I watched him back in WCW. For someone who was a face and more my time (I watched more WWF than WCW) that I just didnt get, it has to be Bret Hart. I always just used to find him boring, where as Shawn Michaels was the flamboyant charismatic one who I would always cheer for even when Shawn was a heel.
I always liked X-Pac as a kid for some reason. I used to think his finisher was shite and I didnt really get what he was doing when he did the bronco buster but he always entertained me. I was also a big Bradshaw fan growing up. I liked him from his Ministry days as he always looked like a badass even upto his JBL days I was a big fan.

| Mark me down as another Sharock fan. He had an intensity that few had in those days and that's probably true of today's wresters too.
Another one I used to really like was Sycho Sid. I wasn't too keen on him up until just before the Survivor Series (96?) where he beat Michaels for the WWF title. After that I became a fan.
There are probably loads that I don't like. The main one that sticks in my mind is Dino Bravo. Just dull and with one of the poorest finishing moves ever (a side suplex, really?)
There were some I used to really dislike as a youngster but which I now like a lot more. Rick Rude was one. I used to hate him but, having rewatched his matches with the Warrior, I think he's very underrated.
