It's not really a Legends Championship if Booker is the champ is it? I'm only joking but seriously this is a crap idea, TNA come up with lots of those although to their credit, they make some good matches eg Lethal Lockdown.

However, if he defends it against younger talent as well as legends, surely that doesn't make it a Legends only championship if you know what I mean? It will end up being another mid card title and that's if it lasts longer than a couple of months.

Wont it just be 'Belt for all the guys that were once in WCW or couldnt make it in WWE?'

they really wont be arsed to link storylines to the belt for more than 4 months it will get stale.

they dont have enough actual legends.

sting and kurt angle are probably only guys worthy of holding it.

then AJ styles will win it one day and prove hes as good as the legends then christian will win it then realise its a shit gimmick belt and toodle off back to the wwe to become a proper legend. the end

from TNA who would you pick as actual legends or at least have the possibility to become one?

angle is one of the best pure wrestlers to ever be in companies, shame he didnt want to be ecw figurehead for a while lol.

This is bad news, I was hoping the new belt would be a mid to upper card belt like the old IC or US titles in WWF and WCW

What do we have then? Sting, Angle, Booker, Nash, Foley, Christian Cage????? what about Christopher Daniels???????? Scott Steiner!

The only way I can see this going is downhill fast, if it does kick off then I can only see TNA investing in more 'older' guys!

If it does kick off I would expect Hogan to get involved at some stage and Scott Hall to get invited back to the iMPACT zone

I'm guessing sooner rather than later it ends up around Foley's waist, he does some speech about how its the greatest moment of his life and he shits further on his WWE career.

With the size of Foley's waist at the moment, that's gonna be one big belt...

for this to be any kind of success, TNA needs to take the belt off Booker, and use it to promote guys like Petey Williams, Jay Lethal and others out of the X Division, give them clean wins over the so-called legends and try to establish them as a genuine promotion. or it'll go the other way as Gaffers suggests, with Hogan, Hall, and God knows who the hell else being hauled back for a final pay-day. If that happens and guys like AJ and Daniels are made to job to washed-up hasbeens, then TNA is finished as a serious promotion.

again they wish to copy the wwe by making belts have no credability.

It's gonna be nothing more than a wrestler-brought-in belt, ala Million Dollar Belt or ECW's FTW belt, I doubt TNA will ever kayfabe acknowledge it as a sactioned belt.

As for legend's, Jarret and Booker in my eye's are legend's, for everything they did behind the curtain, Booker's wrestling school show's he's giving something back, Jarret starting TNA when WCW went bust was a great thing, to put all these young indy star's up on a platform bigger than the usual indy scene, and through to today, the star's TNA has helped build, AJ, Daniels, Joe, Kaz, Petey, Jay Lethal would never have been at this level they are without TNA, WWE haven't gave these guy's a second look when they jobbed out on Velocity or Heat, well bar Kaz, but 1 in how many dont say much.

Without Jarret and TNA, a whole lotta guy's woulda been wasted in WWE or not even getting recognition on a national level through the indy's.

So even without going into the jobber's that Booker will get to defend his 'title', there is still a few credible choices for 'legend-level' feud's for abit. But it's only ever gona be a story title, maybe abit more prestigeuos than say the beer spinner but stil, wont ever be {Kayfabe} recognised as a TNA sanctioned belt.

I don't really understand this belt, it sounds like a shitty gimmick that might be used as another reason for TNA to bring in more old people.

I think it would have been better, if they had brought a mid-card to upper mid-card title which could be used to put people over.

to play devils advocate a little, as most of TNA's 'Legends' are upper mid-card at worst, this is an upper mid-card belt...

they couldnt think of a name for an intercontinental title or a us title without being sued obv.

they could bring in a belt called "rip off title" or somthing though,.

and while there at it get the shit commentators to accidently ruin the match by saying things a second too early ALL THE TIME
