Gail Kim Reportedly Finished With TNA

It has been confirmed that Gail Kim is indeed through with TNA. No details yet regarding this sudden news, but they should be coming out soon.

Kim's profile and photos were quietly removed from the company website earlier today. Regarding the speculation on the removal of her stuff from the website, one TNA source said, "It means exactly what you think it means."

Kim had been with the company for nearly three years - since September 2005. Kim was originally brought in as a pesky heel valet for Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted. When the Knockouts division was created, Kim was pegged as the star babyface. Kim became the first ever TNA Women's Knockout Champion and had a good feud with Awesome Kong. Kim lost the belt on an episode of Impact in January and the focus of the division shifted to some of the other girls. As of late she was a top face in the company, but no longer the top face, sharing the spotlight with Taylor Wilde and ODB.

It was reported earlier tonight that Gail Kim's profile and photos had been removed from the TNA website, which could be an indication of her no longer being affiliated with the company. In a follow-up to the story, it's looking more and more like the removal of her stuff was not some sort of "technical glitch." TNA has a social networking community called the Xtreme Regine Community, which features profiles on all the Knockouts. Looking at this cached page of the site from Yahoo, Gail had a profile on the site. However, the section doesn't have a page on her anymore. When you click her link on the cached page, it takes you to a blank page. Gail is still featured on the graphics for the site, but it would appear that she's been removed from Xtreme Regine Community. Also, this is the link to her Knockout photos on the TNA website. All that comes up is an error screen. The cached page of the Knockouts photos section reads: TNA Photographer Lee South brings you hot pics of the Knockouts, with Christy, Gail, Traci, Val, Karen Angle, Rhaka Khan, Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, Lauren, Crystal, Jacqueline & Salinas." The name of Gail Kim has since been removed from the current Knockouts page. Considering that her name was removed from the page's description, it should pretty much confirm that it was a manual deletion and not some technical error like some may believe.

here though), but they still have yet to remove her name from the roster section. Sans a one week appearance back in May, Louthan hasn't been involved with TNA since April due to the arrival of Lauren Thompson and appears to be through with the company. TNA only used Louthan that one week in May because Lauren had a prior commitment and was unable to attend an Impact taping. Perhaps if something were to happen to Lauren, they'd bring Louthan back.

In a peculiar deal, Gail Kim's profile has been quietly removed from the TNA website. When you go to her profile page, you get the standard "You are not authorized to view this resource" page, which is what happens to the profile pages after a wrestler parts ways with TNA.

Perhaps proving that the removal of her profile wasn't some sort of accident or error, all of her Knockouts photos have been removed as well. When you go to the Knockouts photo section, Gail's page is nowhere to be found.

TNA almost never announces company departures on the website, so there is no way of knowing what the deal is with missing talent unless you go to a wrestling news website such as Rajah.com. In fact, the only "future endeavors" notes they have announced over the past year were done to further angles involving Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian so they could be written off of television.

It was announced on September 6, 2005 that Gail Kim had a signed a contract with TNA. If by chance her contract were to expire, it would probably be around this time. Team 3D signed three-year deals during this time frame, so perhaps she had the same contract length as well. Talent rarely get four-year deals, five-year deals are usually long, and we never heard anything about Gail renewing her contract on a year-to-year basis, so her original contract was likely a three-year deal.

Gail is scheduled to wrestle Awesome Kong in a Street Fight on tomorrow night's Impact, which was taped last Wednesday. She is still named in the preview that is up on the site.

I'm calling this now as a work. Doesn't seem right that she would be gone right now, as TNA wouldn't want to lose her and she would have been under written contract. Seems strange to me

i dont think its his i think shes anoyed about taylor wilde and with the kaz realease being a work wouldnt it make fans think that everyone that got realeasead was a work.however she can hardly go back to wwe so i hope youre right

She might well have been annoyed at the Taylor Wilde situation, but I can't see her reign lasting that long. If wrestlers walked out every time there was some storyline decision they didn't like, they'd be coming and going all the time.

I read her contract was due up at the same time as Team 3D's is, maybe she just ran it down. <<<<<<only what I read though, not a fact by anymeans.

Well this IS Russo booked TNA, so anything is possible, even something as incredibly stupid as 2 storylines that are incredibly similar. I'm just not convinced that this is real is all. If she was running down her contract, then why has there been a lot of focus on her in recent weeks? Just doesn't add up.

Meh dont really care if she goes or not. Is it me or are TNA womens matches, while a lot better than the WWE ones, still shit?

I think most of the womens matches in TNA are pretty good, usually about *** on average I'd say. Course it does depend on who's in there, Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong could pull out a great **** match, while Velvet Sky vs Salinas would be quite poor maybe ** if that.

Salinas is Ariel, isn't she? I have never seen her wrestle, I guess this means she is rather poor?

Anyway, I am undecided yet whether I should worry about this being a work. I kinda would like to see Kim in WWE. She's been active there during my break, and I heard she is quite capable. On the other hand WWE would undoubtedly screw her up, use her wrong, give her a stupid gimmick etc.

So if this really is a work it is probably for the better of Gail Kim because she wont have to job to the likes of Michelle McCool, and better for TNA because they keep a capable wrestler.

TNAWrestlingNews.com is now reporting that Gail Kim is jumping ship and heading back to World Wrestling Entertainment. They are reporting that she was offered a very sizeable offer and has taken them up on the deal.

TNAWrestlingNews.com is also reporting that Gim’s contract is up about to run up and she will be free to start working for WWE once it expires. The decision for her to leave TNA for WWE was completely financial as she had been happy in TNA. The deal she was offered was a big one and hard to pass up.

Kim left TNA on extremely good terms and the door is always open for a return according to TNAWrestlingNews.com sources.

Gail will appear on iMPACT! tonight in a street fight with Awesome Kong.

Yup as always the money does the talking. Can't believe she was being featured so prominently on TNA's shows when her contract was running out. I take it the constant featuring of her kayfabe sister is going to lead to nothing as well then.

Gail Kim has reportedly left TNA in the past couple of days. Immediatly WWE found out and talks should be going ahed to get the former knockout and WWE womens champ back in the mcmahons company.
