Daniel Bryan retires

On medical grounds apparently. Announced on Twitter, and he's going to formally announce it on Raw tonight.

Although there's still part of me thinking this is a work!

I think it could be legit, simply so he can go back to the indies. Never been his biggest fan and thought he was over rated in wwe (admittedly only seen his 'E' work.

I believe he's wanted to come back but officials said no. Must be bad for him not to return, especially with all the injuries.

Turns out it's utterly legitimate. Absolutely gutting for him.

Everyone claiming Punk was the best in the world were always wrong. it was Bryan, all day long. still, if his latest brain scan showed how bad the concussions have damaged him, it's completely the right decision.

gutted for him and gutted wont get to see him wrestle again he was absolutely brilliant such a shame hes had to retire i was hoping takers music was going to interrupt him but never did i also would have loved to seen Bryan vs Aj, bryan was one hell of a wrestler and such a shame his career had to end this early.

When a wrestler dies or retires early due to injury it usually means Hof?

He'll be next year, I reckon. Sting's the main dude for this year, Bryan will be the headliner next time around.

I reckon he'll end up being the Wrestlemania host or something.
