Backstage News on Why John Cena Is Returning Early

It turns out that John Cena wasn't hurt as much as doctors originally expected. When doctors examined him, they found only a partial tear triceps. This was known when WWE announced Cena's original recovery time.

There was talk of Cena still staying out of action until January but with WWE's thin roster, the decision was made to bring him back. WWE officials knew Cena would be returning 4 or 5 days ago but didn't decide on the match against Alberto Del Rio until this past weekend.

As of Monday, the plan is for Cena vs. Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title to be a regular singles match, not a Hell In a Cell match.

Good that its not in hell in a cell, it does feel for once its being used in the right situation for Bryan Vs Orton.

Side note, Cena getting the WHC at some point, anyone feeling unification match at WM30?

Why can't he just stay away and get healthy, he always rushes his rehab, it will fuck him up in the long term.

The rehab isn't rushed as the tear isn't as bad as first thought and what WWE has been saying.

They're rushing him back.

I'm just glad he's  not been shoved straight into the WWE title picture.

The other thing that crossed my mind is ADR's  finisher could 're-injure' Cena and put him back on the shelf for a while...

I was thinking that Grec. put the finisher on him so he's out of action for some time again. Perhaps Cena wins WHC. ADR attacks him after the match. Sandow cash in. Cena on the shelf again...

I can't see Sandow cashing in just yet. Not with the amount of times he's lost over the past few weeks.

And if ADR did injure Cena, it'd make ADR look possibly the strongest heel in WWE at the moment, he's  about the only heel who makes top-line faces tap out. Can't remember the last time RVD tapped.

or ADR gets counted out cos he feels hes going to lose and walks out on the match no need for the finsher to be applied or do his kick to the head for the finisher

Can definitely see that happening, keeps Cena safe for a while longer but he's around and included and keeps him in the title picture.
