League 1 here we come....

Don't like to admit it but 7 points from safety, 6 games left having played a game more than the most around us. We dominated Sheffield Wednesday today but drew.

Hopefully we will retain the good players in our squad and be able to bounce straight back.

If we keep playing Pearson and Kelly instead of Adomah and Anderson, we haven't got a chance.

I dont mind Kelly when he plays in centre mid, but playing him right mid when you have adomah and anderson on the bench is a waste. Think S.O'D does it because of the other guys work rates and do more defensive work, well Anderson does but Adomah's attacking play should be enough. We need wins and then should start our best attacking players.

aye you'll need a miracle, but sometimes it does happen. When we stayed up on goal difference it was amazing, but we soon realised that delaying it one year was all we did. I hope Newcastle don't want Bradden Inman back or we can loan him again, he's really helped with goals when the forwards have struggled. Next season should be interesting though, we've seen how Davis can utilise a weak squad and bolster with quality loans, now will the board release some of our tastey Powell/Westwood profit for a proper squad to be assembled for a title/promotion push?

at least you haven't completely fucked your finances like so many others. I'd say now is the perfect time to hire a "Dario" someone to stick with and turn over good youth players. Walsall have started copying us and it works, they were stuck in mediocrity and now look half decent and have potential sales to keep the finances good. It brings the fans back too, another financial boost. Can't argue that it stands you in good stead for the future too, as ex club pro's can become your managers (Steve Davis) and his son in the team every week, its all working out fine. Can't argue with who's at Wembley next week too, no not us, but Holland and Platt assistants to two of the biggest teams around. Dario has helped football, no end.

SOD is definitely the man to take us back up again though. We just need to make sure we can keep hold of the decent players who are out of contract (Heaton, Stead, Skuse etc) and we'll do well in League 1.

About a fortnight ago, I'd have posted something really smug about how Exeter could also be headed towards League 1, but seeing us lose twice to shit teams over Easter, we seem to be doing all we can to avoid the play-offs.

As for BCFC, surely Adomah should be starting every game? he's a hell of an attacking threat, will make at least two or three chances a game... when the worst happens, if you can keep some of your squad intact and dump some of the guys who don't do much (I've never seen Kilkenny have a good game, or Foster), and you'll come straight back up.

The worst thing is that we could be overtaken by Yeovil or Swindon....

Doesn't fit with S.O'D's style of having everyone working hard and keeping everything tight. Otherwise Adomah and Anderson should play every game as our wingers, Kelly and Pearson...... Like I said Kelly in CM is his best place.
