Thought I'd start another rumour thread for this year.
No grea rumourd kicking around at the moment. Sunderland apparently intrested in Adam Johnson and Kevin Davies. Davies has just committed himself to Bolton and if Johnson leaves City he'll go to a bigger club than us. Only real chance of getting him is on loan.
Read somewhere Grant Holt has put a tranfer request in at Norwich.

Norwich rejected his request,
Johnson is a quality player who should leave city to play every week.

We're getting linked with Steven Naismith from Rangers. Dont know much about him but Jelavic has been speaking to upper management as a recommendation apparently.

Man Utd have been linked with Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund. I don't know anything about him apart from a quick search on Wiki. He's scored 17 goals this season.

Craig Gordon has been released by Sunderland.
I can see him being picked up by Tottenham, as Cudicini and/or Gomes is shown the door.

Is'nt Adam Johnson Sunderland fan Macks, I'm sure when he was playing for us he stated that his family would be supporting you lot. I think with the Martin O'neill factor he would sign for you, with first team football. As much as I hate to say it I think you will have a good season.

Glad it's Utd out of everyone after him, if we go up you may loan him back as part of the deal possibley. It was announced on MUTV right? they don't just do rumours do they?
only weakness is he likes to show off, but he's young and quality so why wouldn't you lol.
sends us from 1 million losses to 3.3m gains for the year, including 300k for danny smith from scousers. Powell will have tonnes of clauses too, so we could be set for the next 4-5 years.
Hopefully it being sorted will mean his heads in the game on sat, as the two previous games he's looked distracted.
this is how easy football is for him

Those words are encouraging Sexton thanks and that is an excellent strike. I saw the rumour through the daily mail online. If we do sign him we would probably send him back on loan, some say he's the replacement for Paul Pogba as he's going to Juventus.

lol, some know nothing. He is nothing like Pogba and would only replace in the sense that he is a young player.
It's still really hard to pigeon hole him in a role, but recently he's been playing as the 80's/90's style second striker, being the creative force and scoring various goals.

Drogba's off.
Quote :
Striker Didier Drogba will leave Chelsea this summer after eight years with the club. The Ivory Coast striker, 34, who scored the winning penalty in the Champions League final victory over Bayern , is set to be a free agent when his Blues contract expires next month. After months of speculation, Drogba has confirmed he is set to move on. "I wanted to put an end the speculation and confirm that I am leaving Chelsea," he told Chelsea's website. "It has been a very difficult decision for me to make and I am very proud of what we have achieved, but the time is right for a new challenge for me."

Could this mean Torres has more interest in staying if he thinks he could feature more?

I think so. I would assume they're going to try and build around Torres. The signings of Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne would suggest this.

I'd take Ibrahimovic for the right price. If Song can give him as good service as he does with Van Persie, then he could be a good asset. I would stay away from Robinho though.

I can see him leaving like. Personally I'd let him go. From what I seen of him he's ball greedy. Get another ball player in.

He's a great talent like, I would love to keep hold of him to be honest.
I think he kept the ball so much because we had very few outlets for him. Bendtner and Campbell were ok but they never linked up particularly well with Sess. If we can get a classier forward in then I think we'll benefit a lot, it's the kinda base we need.
As for Man City I really can't see him getting many games there, you think they would be going for total world class players rather than just canny mint.
