Assassins Creed III

For anyone who plays the assassins creed series, just a thread for any theories as to where the next game could be set.

From what i have seen there are up to 6 main candidates, these being:

- French revolution
- American revolution
- 15th century China
- Fuedal/Imperialising Japan (kinda the timing that the last samurai film is based on)
- Ancient Egypt
- Roman Empire under Caesar

Personal preference from the list would be fuedal japan, come on Assassins being the samurai against the invasion of western ideas brought in by the templars and new wesinquisitern weaponary.

however not on the list i would like Spain under Philip the 2nd of Spain, includes the inquisition, exploration into the new world. The dutch revolt including the assassination of William of Orange.

Anyways where do you want to see the series go and what to happen?

I would have thought that it would surely be moving closer to the present day where you finally play as the main guy in the real world. I think they made too much of a big jump between the first one and second one, I think it'd work American Revolution, in fact I can't think of any it'd work with now in the future, apart from maybe changing the way the game works a bit, making it more like splinter cell, possibly in WW1?

i agree that you will play as Desmond alot in the next game but they will still have to use someones memories in the game for stuff like finding some places.

it doesn't have to be moving forward in time though, they used Ezio's character because in game they knew he found a vault, you just as easily go back further in time again to a relation who had knowledge of something else, or maybe look through the memories of subject 16

I just cant get into brother hood im very disappointed with it i think the game is awful i havent enjoyed it one bit like i did with 1 and then i loved 2 i spent hours on that and got 100% so im let down by this one

really? brotherhood is my favourite of all of them. what about the game is it?
