I would rather they spent more time making a really good campaign for AC III, one that doesn't get boring and repetetive after a few hours play like the last two games, at the start they are really good, but they end up just getting boring, happened with both the first two games, with AC2 being an improvement.
I would much rather play a game with a brilliant, engrossing, long story that keeps me interested the whole way through it then a mulitplayer.

I know it's not for a story mode, that's why I think they will have rushed this one to bring out a multiplayer, when they could have spent a year or two making AC III amazing, and put the multiplayer in it.

i still expect the game to have a decent story mode, however the amount they've added fighting style wise etc and how you can interact with the environment seems to be much much better.

Quote :
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's Associate Producer, Jean-Francois Boivin, had some damning words out there for the rest of the industry that uses multiplayer as an excuse to tick the box on the back of the case.
“I think there’s a lot of room for core single player games,” said Boivin, “I think there’s always going to be room for a single player game and exclusive single player games. I think a lot of the people who are doing multiplayer are just slapping it on actually, and that’s a disservice to their license, so some of them are not that successful.”
“That’s why we took this very, very seriously,” continued the Associate Producer. “We were really, really adamant about being true to the license, true to the universe of Assassin’s Creed.”
Is Assassin’s Creed multiplayer here to stay?
“I think it’s here to stay,” said Boivin, “It works, it’s super cool and it fits in the universe. If we can continue doing that, doing it smart and doing it deep, I think it’s got its space in our franchise.”
Check back later this evening for the rest of our chat with Jean-Francois Boivin where we look at Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s multiplayer.
im glad there taking there time with it as it should be good multilayer if they take it serious. I hope the multiplayer turns out good because at the moment i'm a little unsure how it will turn out i have an idea of a game on-line which could be included

I just don't think it will translate well into multiplayer. It's much cooler being the one badass assasin in a city taking out targets, then a load of assasins running on rooftops.

it's more stealthy in single player and wont be in multilayer as the people who play the game will no the hiding places like the haystacks

Exactly, how can you have an assasin game that isn't stealthy, it makes no sense.
