Olympics Team GB (England)

As we are now around a year and a half away from the london olympics with GB (England) entering a team just wanted to see what people think a probable team could be, by the rules you can have 3 players over the age of 23 in the team.

Mine being:

GK: Joe Hart (23+)

RB: Kyle Walker
CB: Chris Smalling
CB: Steven Caulker
LB: Kieran Gibbs

RM: Theo Walcott
CM: Jack Rodwell
CM: Jack Wilshere
LM: Adam Johnson (23+)

FW: Andy Carroll
FW: Wayne Rooney (23+)

Subs:

Jason Steele
Ciaran Clarke
Ryan Bertrand
Tom Cleverley
Scott Sinclair
Danny Welbeck
Connor Wickham

What would your teams be?

That's a very solid team Hodge, a lot of potential within that squad. But I'd maybe have Welbeck in front of Carroll, Carroll has done well this season but I think he would give away to many fouls in promising positions.

I dont think I would change any of that team to be honest. Its a very solid team.

might have to add nick powell in there hodge and maynard

its surprising how many decent young players england has, as there are a fair few i havent even included
